Our basement sump pump broke on a rainy day, so I spent the morning calling plumbers in the area. Cardarelli responded quickly, diagnosed the problem over the phone, and were at our place within an hour or so. To add to that, they gave me the most reasonable quote and even called from the store when the part they needed cost $20 more than they'd told me it would. Once they arrived, they were efficient and friendly, and we haven't had sump pump issues since. They're now our go-to plumbing company for the next time we need one.

We called Cardarelli to fix a small pipe that carries water out to our garden hose. It had frozen over the winter and was spraying water in our basement storage unit. Joe called me back quickly and worked with me to pick the most convenient time and day for his guys to come by. (We were able to shut off the water to the pipe and go without the hose for a few days. It wasn't an emergency.) The two guys who came were great. They arrived right on time and worked quickly. They talked me through the repair and the cost before they started work. When they were done, they showed me how to use the new bleeder valve they'd installed-and they actually demonstrated with water and a bucket so I was totally clear on what to do--and gave me instructions on how and where to shut off the water next winter. We had a different plumber out to fix this very same problem last summer, but they didn't install a proper valve OR tell us that we needed to shut it off for the winter. It was a drag to have to pay for everything a second time, but I'm totally confident in the work Cardarelli did. I'm glad to have found them and will definitely call them the next time we need plumbing help.

My 14 year old water heater started leaking rusty water from the bottom. I knew the moment had arrived that most homeowners dread, it was time to get my water heater replaced. I gave Cardarelli Plumbing a call. Joe responded right away, had me send some pictures of the heater over, gave me a price quote & said he could send someone out the next day to have it replaced.

Sean & Jordan completed the installation. They were both very personable, professional & knowledgeable. They also made sure that my pets didnt try and escape while they were in and out of my basement, which I really appreciated. They had the water heater in within 2 hours and went on their way.

No homeowner likes to replace their water heater, but these guys made the experience much more tolerable. I will definitely use them for any future plumbing issues I come across.

Toilet went on the blink. Tried to reach the plumber I normally used but he was not able to take on a emergency today. Not his fault. Sometimes that is what happens in the plumbing world. Seeing Cardarelli had a majority of good reviews and being local plumber arrived within 30 minutes of call . Joe was able to give options on repair. Helpful that credit cards are a payment option with Joe. Would recommend.

Joe is a great plumber who doesn't try to upsell - he'll go through options and what you really need to spend for what you're trying to achieve. He's also extremely responsive and actually cares whether or not you have heat and will take the time to help you figure out what's gone wrong and how to keep it from happening again. Joe and his team installed two water heaters in our two-family house, and did some other plumbing maintenance in our basement. He was sincerely nice, professional, and communicative. We did get a few quotes on the work and his price was very competitive. We're very pleased and we will not hesitate to call him in the future!

Joe, I tried to be really fair in my review. I praised you in the area I felt like you excelled in (plumbing) and gave an honest review of the area you fell short in (heating) based on MY EXPERIENCE. We never had a nasty exchange I was just extremely direct and firm about not paying an additional $250 dollars (after paying you $500 cash) for a problem you hadn't fixed. I haven't received any calls from you or someone from your company about my review and my home phone hasn't changed in almost 20 years. The honest truth is that you didn't know how to fix my boiler and instead of being honest about that you thought you'd fake it until you made it.
However, I pay for your expertise in plumbing and heating not for trials and error. Not once did you ever express any concern about the age of my boiler (it is 13 years old) or express that my boiler is an older model and you haven't worked on this model often. You completely made it seem like the problem was fixable and something you encounter often with this brand of boilers.
You were paid $500 dollars for the work you did. That is the price you gave me and was paid in cash. I just refused on the third try to pay anymore money when our heating issue hadn't been fixed the first two times. You didn't cut your family trip short you told us that Friday you were returning Sunday and you gave us the time you would be back on Sunday to fix the problem.
Your response was very disappointing I just wished you apologized instead of trying to vilify the client and take responsibility for the experience. Do to the circumstances I think I was extremely patient and accommodating. I just wasn't going to be bullied to pay more for sub-par heating work. I never once criticized your plumbing I actually gave your plumbing work an excellent grade.
I'm not here to hurt someone's business I'm just here to give an honest review of the business and the work that they provided me. Not everyone's experience is going to be the same. I just shared my truth/experience with Cardarelli Plumbing.
