My toilet had been leaking every time I flushed it; going onto the bathroom floor. Stopped using it for a month, since I was busy traveling back and forth from Chicago to Detroit to help out my father, who was in the hospital for over a month.

Captain Rooter sent out a great service technician in Adam A. He did a tremendous job in quickly analyzing the situation and applying a fix to the problem. He worked fast and was clear in his explanations. I would highly recommend Adam, if you call Captain Rooter.

He even threw in a free part he happened to have to help with the cost. He was friendly and efficient. He provided info on home owners insurance and recommended a good company too. Overall a great job!! I'm very relieved to have this taken care of.

Adam and Brandon did a fantastic job with out kitchen sink line. They hydro jetted it and has the drain back to working. The customer service team is also very helpful. Overall a great team there looking out for your plumbing needs.

Awful experience. Worker came to the home and tried to install a new sump pump for $2000 - when they were asked to leave the home they became irate. I got $200 off of the work done to my home - but even w the discounted service I would not recommend

I had the best experience with this company! I'm new to home ownership and had a big wonky project to complete in an old wonky house and Andrew really showed up for the job. He was informative and personable, really went above and beyond. Can I tell you -- I was actually kinda sad when the project was over, it was nice having such an expert and team player in the house!! Don't hesitate, no need to shop around, this is your guy!

They sent someone out who tried to scam us. He attempted to charge us $1600+ for a sump pump replacement. We called and they sent someone else out who took care of it for less.
However, they still charged us most of the costs from the first repairman. We called and were promised a partial refund. Over a week later, we are still awaiting our promised partial refund and will update this review upon the receipt of that restitution.

Great experience. I got a follow up call from Captain Rooter at 9am and had a technician at my home by 11am. They assessed my hot water heater, it hadn't been producing hot water for a week, it's over 20 years old so I figured it was time to replace it. Andrew? the technician stated it was a simple element piece that had gon bad, ran to the local hardware store, and replaced it within an hour. Saved me hundreds of dollars by not having to buy a new hot water heater.

Giving major props to Adam and Hector for an amazing job working on my toilet install. Extremely knowledgeable, Adam explained everything clearly to me so that I could truly understand the process and what I was paying for. He was NEVER condescending, he really cared that I understood him so as to build a trust between us. Adam wasn't the first plumber to come look at my situation but in the end, I truly believe, I ended up getting the best.

I would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a fair, honest and really talented plumbing team. I will plan on calling on them for future plumbing needs.

We've basically had two separate complicated and emergent issues that Adam from Captain Rooter diligently worked on. He's truly a conscientious, dedicated technician and I would 100% recommend asking for him when calling Captain Rooter.

We had a drain fly issue that had persisted for over a year. We suspected it was a plumbing problem coming from the mechanical room but had no idea where. Adam came and did not give up. He was determined to find the source. Not all technicians would have that tenacity and it was much appreciated. He even went above and beyond and implemented other measures to ensure the drain flies couldn't get in. He was great at explaining what the issue was and how he found and fixed it, with total transparency.

We called Captain Rooter another time and asked for Adam, specifically. Two toilets in our basement had stopped flushing. Our plumbing situation was pretty extreme as it wasn't noticeable for a while. Adam was, as expected, diligent and determined and explained that our ejector pump had stopped working. Before installing the new one he showed me the broken one and explained the mechanism that was causing the issue.

Adam truly puts my mind at ease because I trust his dedication and quality of his work. He's extremely personable and professional as well as trustworthy and dependable. It's worth repeating that you should definitely request Adam to help whenever calling Captain Rooter.
