Had a leaky pipe from our water main. Will came out on Saturday and fixed the problem in a very professional and courteous manner. Knows exactly what had to be done and was very reliable and friendly. Highly recommended!

Nobody wants to deal with plumbing issues, but my experience working with Will was as smooth as I could've asked for. I needed to have two shower cartridges changed, and Will did a great job of coming in, diagnosing the problem, and swapping in the correct parts. It actually became more complicated than I thought because I live in a condo and we had to coordinate the water shut off to the whole building, but Will was punctual and professional the whole time and always kept me in the loop on when he would arrive.

He actually ended up coming back a couple of times to finish the job because of complexities with my building, but he worked with my home warranty company to make sure I wouldn't get charged for the extra trips. Everything works now and I have hot water! I'll definitely work with Will again if I have a plumbing issue.

Will was a pleasure to work with. He righted a wrong in our bathroom. He and Chit replaced a sump-pump in a bathroom that should have been a sewage ejector system. He readily identified the problem, gave us multiple options on how to go about it, along with his personal recommendation. His prices were competitive and fair and he did a very thorough job. Though we did find him through our home warranty company, I will definitely use him again for any plumbing needs. Highly recommended!!

Will is the best. Seriously. I've had other plumbers come out who were just run of the mill. Will came out, redid our water heater and fixed our toilets all less than in the time he quoted. Very easy to work with and communication was good throughout. Seemed very knowledgeable and honest. Would definitely be the first on my list to call if I ever have any plumbing issues.

We've had a recurring problem with a very slowly draining bathroom sink. Will (that is, Captain Rooter) is a very nice guy who went way above and beyond what other companies have done in clearing out the pipes and giving us advice on a biodegradable agent that can be used for preventive maintenance. Highly recommended.

By the way, like others here I ended up using Captain Rooter through my American Home Shield service contract. I'm not at all crazy about AHS and may discontinue their service. But that's not Will's fault. If you have an AHS or some other service contract, you might specifically request him. I'll do so in the future if I need further plumbing work.

Overall my experience was good with this company. They replaced a water heater for me via AHS home warranty. The person who schedules appointments and does the coordination is fairly responsive and easy to work with. Will also has been very courteous and answered all our questions. He seemed to have done quality work overall but he wasn't really detailed oriented. He damaged our drywall a bit as he tried to anchor the heater. Though not a big deal it could have been easily avoided.

However they play this game I call ""the extras game"". Once it is determined that heater needs replacement home warranty calls me and says there are several things that are not covered by the contract and that I will have to pay for them out of pocket. I inquire what these extras are and they charge $50 for hooking the heater up to existing vent, $80 for screwing in a gas sediment trap, $100 to install a grounding wire, $100 for installing earthquake straps, $75 for inserting a 2x4 between wall and heater, $50 for wrapping hoses with foam insulation. So yes, lots of money for very minor things.

Will is the most honest, trustworthy and hardest working person I've ever met.

Long story short, my water heater burst and I have a warranty through American Home Shield. They sent out Captain Rooter (Will) and he took a look and said I would have to still pay out of pocket to bring the water heater to code and the warranty wouldn't cover that. I got upset/annoyed, not at Will but the warranty company.

He was set to replace my water heater the Monday after Thanksgiving and I cancelled because I was dealing with my warranty company. Mind you, I called him several times asking questions about the parts, replacement, etc. and every time he picked up and was up front and answered all of my questions. He even mentioned doing a cash out option with my warranty company and buying it myself and having someone else replace it. He just said he couldn't just swap out the heater and not bring it to code (makes sense).

Come Tuesday and dealing with the idiot AHS Warranty folks, I gave up and called Will to see if he could come and replace it. He was booked all week and but he said he would try to squeeze me in. I told him I had a pregnant wife and 2 kids so no hot water and especially after me canceling our original appointment, I was 1/2 way in the dog house lol. He understood and said he would come on Friday. Mind you, he was out on calls all day and he showed up at 6pm and spent 3-4 hours to get it replaced so my family could have hot water. Any other person would've just done it over the weekend or the following week but this guy is a man of his word.

He does his job, works hard, and we have HOT water!! Thanks Will!

I've called Captain Rooter on several occasions to fix my bathroom plumbing, garbage disposal, shower, and hot water heater. After my mother passed I needed his help with her hot water heater. Years of prompt, valuable, and reasonably priced service is a constant with this trustworthy company.

Horrible! They came to give an estimate to replace my water heater, they said it needed to be replaced ( it was leaking) and waited FIVE DAYS to call with a diagnosis. Their estimate was quadruple the cost of a local plumber. If they didn't want to do the job they could have said instead of jerking me around and pricing out of the ballpark. Buyer Beware.
