Khoa was responsive and honest from the get go. I called Khoa for a second opinion because another plumber I had called to clear out a clog recommended i replace my drain pipes to permanently remove an object that was causing an 80% clog... which was going to cost several thousands of dollars (the pipes are old and probably have a few years left in them). When Khoa came out to check out the issue he said he could replace the section of the drain pipe that had the clog which costed only a fraction and was able to complete the job the next day. It was very refreshing to find an honest person who won't just try to take your money. I would 100% recommend Khoa and his team and they will be the first people I call if I have any future plumbing needs.

I woke up abruptly at 4am to the sound of running water. Come to find out a pipe in my crawl space had broken and was gushing water into the crawl space. I turned off our water and then as soon as I got up in the morning contacted Khoa who promptly replied asking questions about the issue. They came over later in the morning to assess the issue further and give me a quote. Reasonable price and very responsive service. The repairs were completely quickly and professionally (the covered the floors since they'd be tracking dirt in and out from the crawl space). Used services for our backed up pipes. Very reliable and fast service and quick appointments. pricing is very reasonable. other plumbers said they could send someone first for quotes and schedule us later in week but he came the next morning when i called late at night. He also installed our garbage disposal at the same time for a better prices than other plumber quoted. Had stuff I wanted to replace for our shower like facet but he said it was easy and recommended I do it instead of paying for more work. I tried to do shower faucet and found out he was correct! the shower faucet was very simple and fast to do on my own. he is very honest and does not try to upcharge for unnecessary work. very highly recommended. he also went beyond and was able to find us a reasonable concrete guy

He replied my message quickly, came to my house to do the evaluation in couple days, and let me know what he would do for installing a two-way cleanout in my front yard. He might not be the cheapest contractors you can find, but the quality of his work is absolutely top-notch. Be sure to talk to him if you have any plumbing issues, you won't regret!

I am sure there must be more than two plumbers in the San Jose are who are technically competent, who don't upsell, and who look for cost effective but code-compliant solutions. I don't know where the rest of them are, but Khoa is one of the two I do know.

I first hired Khoa a couple of years ago, based on Yelp reviews, to deal with a drain line issue. He was able to solve the problem despite the 80 year-old cast iron pipe that I suspect some plumbers would not have risked trying to open up--or would have charged a premium to deal with.

Then, recently, my water main burst, and my wife did the Yelp research. When Khoa showed up, I said ""Hey, I know you!"" Khoa fixed the water main, and then a second major problem a few weeks later, all at a fair price, and with what seems to be really solid work. I had another plumber in to do some fixture work of a kind that Khoa doesn't do, and he was impressed with Khoa's work.
