Ginny N.So far, so good. We rebuilt our home and moved back in 8 yrs ago. GF Septic did the design/installation of our system and they provided the 5-yr pump out service. We recently had a back up into the garage and GF Septic came out and fixed the problem. A couple of issues that caused us to re-evaluate this vendor: a) my husband called the ""emergency"" line at 6 pm on Wed and was told they would be out first thing on Thurs -- they showed up at 10:45; not a biggie, but I'm not sure it warranted the ""emergency"" price of $395; b) the problem was that our filter was clogged and I was asked when was the last time it was cleaned; my husband was not happy as he was never informed about this maintenance item and he felt that there were numerous opportunities for GF Septic to let him know (like when they did the 5-yr pump out). So, I looked on Yelp and called two companies. I like this one - two partners that have worked together a long time. As one of them said, it's all about service - whether you deal with waste or money, it's all about service.
I will add to this after we have our first service call - they are going to schedule a pump-out for next week.
