we made 5 appointments , they showed up twice and did not show up the
three following times. I have been three weeks without hot water, they never canceled the appointments I made, the dispatch center did not call back and their excuse when I did get one was not correct. Not responsive, not reliable.

Do.Not.Use.This.Company. They were assigned by a home warranty company. They promised repeatedly to show after 5 days and never did. I called. They didn't respond to my calls or most calls made by the home warranty company. After spending an entire day window waiting period (8:00-5:00) they told the home warranty company that someone would be out later in the evening and that they had to check to see where the technician was. This company is clearly run by individuals who have little regard for consumers they serve. Run...don't walk...away from this company. You've been warned!

When my grandson first went to work with them they put him with a so called supervisor who drank on the job and was drunk a lot of the times, so he quit, they did hire him back and put him someone else who also says the other guy did not do his work properly. How can you learn from a company that doesn't care about you and try to help young people who really want to work. Not this company you are not fast enough for them so they let you go fire you.

I have been using Capital Mechanical for over a year now, and they have been great. Their prices are very fair, and their customer service has been excellent. They are responsive, communicative, and timely. I have had them do work in my own home in Arlington (installation of a new gas line to the patio for the grill) as well as work at a rental property in DC (toilet repairs... usually stuff). I have never had a single negative issue with them. Very easy to work with. I do wish they would take credit cards though...

All I can say is this was by far the best service company I dealt with in my new home! I recently built a new home and had issues with various trades who worked on the house. Capital Mechanical was the most responsive and professional of all of them. The overall quality of work was great, with only a couple minor adjustments that were needed once we moved in. They were done with no problems, or delays and the service tech was on time, professional and good.

Capital Mechanical gets plum businnes from home builders. They have provided shoddy work without attention to detail. After they install, due to their lack of detail, they make you take time off for them to come back and fix things. Also exposing your inner house to their workers! Unlike most plumber who come at all times of the day, they only arrivefrom 8am to 4pm. The homeowever, have no say because the HOme builder agreed to the contract. That's why capital mechanical doesn't care about servicing homeowners, homeowners arent' the real clients the home builders are. Frankly, thequality of material install is not great and their workers. Unfortunately my home builder EYA uses them.
