Absolute worst period. I live real close by, and I always buy/ shop local, so I gave this company every opportunity to get me as a customer. I had an issue with a toilet that was jammed up. I tried a plunger an an augur/snake, nothing worked. It is the only toilet in apartment. So I called in an emergency. A person answered immediately, said someone would call me back immediately. Waited 2 hours. Called again. Another person answered (a professional service). The second individual stated the owner, received the message, and would give me a call when he was free. HE NEVER CALLED. I ended up going to Home Depot, buying a new toilet myself and installing it myself. I will never call Canton Plumbing again, and believe no one should. If you can't count on a plumber in an emergency, then when can you!

So we had an issue where the plumber and his assistant came out to fix a few issues related to a burst pipe and the sub sequential clean up. My issue is no in way with the work or even the obnoxious pricing or lack of payment options (checks only) but rather what the plumber and his apprentice were like in my home. 1) I watched the old man literally take pliers to a shut off valve and rip it off (now needing to be fixed). Of course he is pretty hard of hearing so he didn't hear me standing there behind him. Then there is his lovely apprentice who was popping nips of booze behind the work van every time he went out for another ""forgotten tool."" The there is the issue of their awesome 2 wheel drive van not being able to go up a 3 degree slope on 1/4 of snow. Mind you my beat up old CRV went right up the WHOLE 12' driveway in a an instant (most vehicles don't have issues with 1/4 of snow). No, their van needed to be pushed. It was funny at first until the tore up my lawn.

We have a tremendous amount of work being done at our home and are looking for a plumber. These guys ain't it!

And yeah, the older guy - he's a rude jerk to on top of everything else.

I called to inquire about a service, but I won't be hiring them. The initial experience was fine. I was given a quote over the phone, the woman was cordial and helpful. But when I realized later that more work had to be done and called again, Skip (the owner?) called me back and his tone was a bit condescending, asking why I thought I needed to have this work done... did someone tell me that? I explained it involves a safety issue for a pet in my house who had gotten metal poisoning. He joked (?) that I should get rid of the pet, it would be cheaper. I realized after hanging up that I don't really want to do business with someone like this, especially in light of other reviews here, so I won't be proceeding. Would rather pay more to others.

Expensive. Overpriced. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The owner is a pompous ass. Got terrible service from them twice. Do yourself a favor and stay away! Do not use these guys.

I recently had a service call from Canton Plumbing and could not be happier. The plumber evaluated my two problems and efficiently went about getting the parts and expertly repairing a dryer vent that snaked between two floors (who knew?) and an old toilet part that was causing an incessant leaking problem. He probably saved my home from fire by his attention to the vent problem. And I know he saved me money on my water bill. Everything neat and clean and working upon him leaving. Bonus for me was his respectful and pleasant demeanor! Call this company and consider yourself lucky if Chris answers the call!

We live in Canton and had these guys do a lot of work to our first house, including an entire new heating system. After spending over ten thousand, we had a problem in our new house with our waterless heater on a Saturday at noon and our installer was out of town. Looking for help we called our local plumbers.
Explaining we had no hot water, the plumber did not even state his name, said ""I'm not getting involved with that"" and hung up on me. About the rudest phone call ever. Never use them again.
