I heard a leak inside one of my walls but couldn't detect where it was coming from so I went on Yelp and called various plumbers. What separated Canfield's Plumbing from the rest was that when I called Canfield's Plumbing, I was directly connected to John, a professional plumber with over 30 years of experience. I highly preferred talking with a professional rather than a receptionist like other companies that I called.

Prior to our initial conversation, I had never met John or heard of Canfield's plumbing. But as I began to describe to John the sound coming from one of my walls, I quickly learned that he was professional, honest and thorough.

He said the only way he'll come out to my home was if I used the leak detection company of his choice, which is a company called Goldak who are the gold standard in leak detection services. He quoted me a price for them to come out which was the same price that Goldak quoted me directly when I called them after my conversation with John. I chose to pay a little more for my leak detection service and go with the best (Goldak) rather than save $20 and go with an amateur. John was nice enough to set up an appointment for me. So the leak detection company came out to my home and detected the leak within 20 minutes. They found the exact spot of the leak.

John and his friendly sidekick, Mike, arrived at my home during the leak detection service. They arrived professionally dressed and pulled up in a very clean service vehicle. These guys were ready to go. They got started right away. They jack hammered thru the foundation of my home and fixed the damaged copper pipe. It was a small leak the size of a pin. They poured cement back in the hole and made it look great again.

They were also very clean. They hauled away all of the trash and cleaned the area afterwards. I even found John with a Windex spray bottle cleaning the glass in the room where the leak was found. That showed me the extent to which they were willing to go to make me a satisfied customer. John and Mike were absolute pros in answering all my questions. I later learned that by choosing them over other plumbers, I literally saved a few thousand dollars.

I will never have to shop around for plumbers again because I found my guys, John and Mike from Canfield's Plumbing. I cannot tell you how pleased I am with their service. They were in and out within 3 hours.

If I ever have plumbing issues again, I'm calling Canfield's Plumbing asap. Don't hesitate to call these guys. Call them. You will be impressed. That's why they have perfect reviews on yelp.

There isn't enough space to express my gratitude towards Canfield's plumbing (John)...I was so happy with how he handled everything. He didn't make a mess through my house while working and even after he was finished fixing my toilet he cleaned up. He didn't give up and made sure that the problem was taken care of for me, he was very professional, and courtesy. I will definitely be calling Canfield's for the rest of my plumbing services.

I highly recommend Canfield's Plumbing. I called them this morning @8am and spoke with John, he said he had one job before ours but could come today, and the service call would be free! They were prompt, friendly, professional, equipped, and confident they could do the job witch, by the way, required them to work outside, on a very hot day.. annd cut thru some very thick wood, to install a new shower valve. Their quote was very reasonable, and included all parts and labor. These guys did what they said they would do, in a timely manner. We are very very pleased with the work and will use them again..

John is a scholar and a gentleman. I called because I had a problem with my vintage 1955 Standard toilet. He gave me a free fix over the phone! I'd highly recommend and will be sure to call again in the future. Highly Recommended!!!

Our main sewage line was backed up and my wife had Roto-rooter come out and fix the issue. Upon further inspection, they advised us to repair a portion of the sewage line citing root damage and gave us an estimate of $1500.

I decided to get a 2nd opinion since $1500 is no drop in the bucket. I called John on a Friday afternoon and setup the appt the next day on Sat. John and Mike came right on time and inspected our lines. John had us watching the monitor with him while Mike dropped in the camera down our line.

He said there was absolutely nothing that needed repairing and explained to us certain situations that the line might get backed up. He gave us some great tips to avoiding any future issues. My wife an I were very relieved to say the least.

I asked him how much we owed for the services and he said there was no charge! These guys are truly professionals and will be our go-to plumbers in the future.

What a sigh of relief! In an effort to sell my moms home we came across some issues. Since I didn't live near the area, hiring a contractor made me feel a bit uneasy. Joe took care of that. From the first time I called him he handled the issue within a matter of hours. I called him a second time a few weeks later as other issues arose. He showed up, made some minor repairs, gave me an estimate for the other problems and even suggested a second opinion. He didn't even charge me for the minor repairs. It's hard to find an honest and friendly contractor these days, but I definitely feel confident in entrusting Joe with any work I need done.

Had a great experience with John and his assistant, a military veteran in training, yesterday. They were actually on time, I was a little late. I called them out to do some routine maintenance on my house do to slow drains. John was able to determine one of my clean outs would clean two drains. The water company came by to turn on service and recommended that I had some work done. Setting up am appointment was a breeze and they even arrived a bit earlier than scheduled.

They were very courteous and professional. After assessing the proposed job they told me that I really didn't need any work done. I wasn't even charged for the visit! I greatly appreciate the honesty because they could've easily taken the quick buck. If I ever have any plumbing issues in SGV I'll be calling Canfield's.
