Writing review on behalf of my 84 year old mom who lives in Bakersfield and experienced On-Time's poor service.
My mom's AC was struggling to meet lower temps, so she called for service. On-Time service rep came out approximately June 13th 2018 and informed my mom that he found nothing wrong and charged her $90 for inspection. Air from the AC unit remained warm, so she had a different company out Tues Jul 10, 2018 and the tech from the alternate company, discovered issues On-Time should have discovered during their diagnostic eval. He did not believe the issues he discovered would show up within a month time frame.

I called On-Time on behalf of my mom and asked if they recorded pressure measurements or other info that prove the tech actually completed the diagnostic tests on her AC; this type of information was not captured. I informed On-Time of the alternative company's findings and asked if they would refund a portion of the fee back to my mom, since she payed for two inspections and they declined.

I also signed up for their yearly maintenance plan which not only reduced my bill by eliminating basic visit charges, but provided necessary yearly maintenance to HVAC and plumbing systems. I called On Time and asked if they worked on floor heaters, they said yes. Sent a technician out who told tenant they did not work on floor heaters and the unit was too old. Then gave me a staggering quote of $4,200.00 to replace. Did not sound right so called around and found out Gundlach's works on floor heaters. Gundlach went out and said ""there was NOTHING wrong it just needed to be lite. Don't bother with this company.

Update: Shortly after the repairs were made, I noticed that the fan was running continuously, running, day in, and day out. I mentioned it to my husband, but he didn't pay much attention, he figured it was because the unit was running overtime. Since it's been cooling down recently, we've been able to turn the AC off, and open up the doors. Right away I noticed when I turned it off completely that the fan still continued to run. My landlord had someone out within a couple of days to see what the issue was. And sure enough, just like I suspected, something was wrong. I don't know the details, but all I know is that they had to fix whatever Brandon screwed up on. Stay away!

They were on time, and did a great job! Reuben was very nice, and professional. Came out Sunday morning, and diagnosed a bad motor. He called me the next day, and quoted me a great price on the motor/repair work. He showed up Tuesday morning, and replaced the motor. I would definitely recommend this company.

This was horrible. Dispatch told us ""Brandon "" would call within 2 hours. Without air in 105 we wait two hours And call back. Dispatch said they would put in another request. We called three more times ; each time they said he would call us. At midnight we gave up! If you can't come - just tell us ! Lame. The next day the company tells us ""Brandon "" got our info mixed up with another job. That's not even a good excuse when each call they take your name , phone and address.
