I was blown away by the services I received from Camps Plumbing. The communication and execution exceeded my expectations. Genuinely nice and informative guys!
I had them run new water and gas into a new laundry room. I also had them close off some existing pipes that were in the way. Great service, fair price and fantastic work!

Call them before their calendar fills up. If Levy starts questioning your reasoning or asking stupid questions, inconsistent with conversations with the owner, just let them know and request another worker in the future.

Can't go wrong with these folks, they saved my butt in a hurry, and for cheap. Unfortunately I forgot my technicians name, but he busted his butt and wouldn't give up on a extremely bad sewer line plug. He fought and sweated for over 4 hours, and then only charged me about half.
Very refreshing to know there is still companies and workers like these folks.

Very poor communication.
Quoted one price, then Charged almost double.
Gave no solution to our plumbing issue.

I called Camps because I have some pipes that do not drain into the septic tank. I needed to find out where they go before doing any remodel or re-piping. This was obviously a problem area and we needed a skilled professional to figure out the mystery. We needed answers so that we could proceed with remodel work. Pat suggested they scope the line and I asked what the charge for that was. He said $200 plus travel time, which would add about $150.
Instead of coming himself, Pat sent an employee to do the scope. The employee was nice but not a master plumber. After trying for a while to figure out what happens to the water that drains from our pipes, he said he didn't know, and didn't have a solution for us; he said Pat would have to figure out what to do next. When he was walking around outside with his camera locator, he wandered around a large area, and he didn't seem at all sure of where the camera was. He finally said, ""well, I guess around here"" and he marked the ground. We weren't sure that he actually located the camera, or if he was just tired of looking and didn't know what else to do. He apologized because he didn't have an answer for us. We were still right where we started.

As disappointing as it was to have no answer as to what to do with our exit plumbing, it was more disappointing dealing with Camps after the fact. Not only did Camps not follow up to help us with our issue - which is what I called them for - they thought it fine to pad our bill and bulk up the cost by almost double. We called them to solve a problem and they charged us more than they said and solved nothing....and had no interest in solving the problem either.

A bill arrived in our email for $591!!! What!??! What happened to the $350 I was quoted?? I called Camps immediately, leaving a message that there was some misunderstanding, that I had been quoted $350. Pat returned my call saying the scope took much longer and it just cost more. I said ""why wasn't I informed that the cost was going up? I agreed to a $350 job, not a $591 job."" Pat kept saying his employee was here a while, trying to figure it out, etc. (keep in mind that everyone knew this was a problem issue, so it seems a given that some time would be needed to figure it out - he knew this before. You would think he would have dealt with an issue like this himself, instead of sending an employee who was less skilled). Regardless, I never approved paying for $240 more of nothing.
During the whole phone call, I could hear his wife Cyndi responding in the background to our conversation, telling Pat what to say. She would snap in after every comment I made. Her voice was very snotty and aggressive. I wondered why she hadn't gotten on the phone, instead of trying to talk through Pat!

In the end Pat ended up reducing the bill by $91. I debated for a few days if I should pay the $500 bill. It was NOT what I had been quoted. The higher cost had NOT been approved. In the end, I figured I would rather just be done with them and pay the bill - even though I'm absolutely sure that if they had decided to go through a Court to collect, they would have lost the case. I just didn't want to deal with them anymore.

After $500, all I got from Camps was a wasted morning. I ended up calling another plumber, who gave me a great solution to our mystery pipes, and also beat Camps quote for re-piping the house by a substantial amount. Unless you want your bill to double and to waste your time, don't call Camps.

Highly satisfied. They sent out a young man, Levy, to do the job. He was very polite and professional. He diagnosed our problem right away and got to work quickly. He explained the situation and gave us advice so that the problem would not reoccur. I had to call the company to tell them they have a young worker with a lot of potential as he knew how to treat the customer and get the job done.

My experience with Camp's Plumbing was great. I got their info from Janiene C. who had them do work in her business location after the third plumber I called bailed on me at the last minute.
Pat and Cyndi are very professional and great communicators. They called back when they said they would. Their employees showed up on the scheduled date and time. They even called ahead.

Mine was a small job, but that did not change how they treated me as a customer. I highly recommend Camp's Plumbing.

My kitchen sink backed up on Sunday evening, I called another plumbing service I had utilized twice in the past. The owner advised his crew were on another commercial project and not available to assist me, the end! I called Camps's and they had a crew member out the same afternoon. Levi was great, issue resolved quickly. Great Customer Service. Camp's will be my new go-to for plumbing issues in the future.

My experience with Camps Plumbing was great. I needed their service to decommission my existing business and plumb in my new location all within a couple of hours. The guys were competent, really professional throughout and I thought they were good at problem solving. They also had a great candor and were personable. I live in Hood River and they came from The Dalles. No problem for them they said, so I will call them first next time I need service.
