They don't register the new AC units so there is no warranty. Just costed me an extra $1000 for their mistake! Terrible company!

Camp Air installed a 2 ton heat pump in May 2016 and there have been repeated problems ever since. After a 2 or 3 calls, they refused to come out and provide warranty service. They charged $125 for clearing the condensate line which was a problem they caused. The unit completely failed in Sept 2018. The HVAC company that came to service it reported that there was an evaporator coil leak, which cost $525. They also said the unit had been installed improperly, it was not registered, it was placed directly on the ground with no pad, no tie downs or locking caps, no insulation on the copper tubing, no downflow kit installed and just bringing the unit up to code would cost $700. Based on observation, the HVAC company suggested that it was likely the unit had not been vacuumed on installation which will cause premature compressor failure. Do yourself a favor and find a different HVAC service provider.
