Two of my friends recommended Cameron Plumbing. So I gave them a try for clogged drains in my Master Bath. I called in to request service, and they had someone out to my house the very next morning and on time.

I asked about costs up front - I thought I was told it would be $119 per hour. Apparently the $119.00 is for the first half hour - so my mistake if this is the case.

The plumber cleaned out the drains for two sinks (I have dual sinks in the Master Bath, plus the overflow drains as well). Work took about 45 minutes. Bathroom was left in the same condition - so they do clean up after themselves. I tested the drains before he left - they now drain properly!

Bill total came to $146.00.

Cameron plumbing is a great company. I've been using them exclusively as my plumber for 15 years. Any plumbing job big or small; Cameron is your best bet. Unfailingly does the right thing, not the most expensive thing. Great company, great ethics, great people!

I had been told by 2 other plumbers that my Pressure Reducing Valve was leaking and that if I was going to replace it, I should also replace my Main Water Shut Off valve at the same time. This brought in the additional headache of arranging for the water to be shut off, which could only be done through my property management company since I live in a condo (the county does not accept owner requests). I didn't care for the price the other 2 plumbers gave me so I chose to get a 3rd estimate. After reading some reviews I contacted Cameron Plumbing, who worked with me through email on a price.

The water was scheduled to be shut off around 10 and the plumber, Steven, arrived about a half hour early to do the prep work. He cut the wall to check for a leak and informed me that he found no evidence of a leak. He gave me the option of cancelling the job, but since I already made all the arrangements and for my own peace of mind, I opted to continue. The water authority had not shown up by 10:30 and Steven was very patient and even helped me work through my property management company to figure out where the county water service technician was and straighten out some miscommunication about draining the building. It could have been a real disaster and cost me extra money due to all the time wasted between my property management company and county water service, but the situation was resolved. The county water service tech showed up a little after 11:00 to shut off the water and Steven worked efficiently so as not to affect the price we agreed upon.

I was impressed with the professionalism of this company throughout the entire process, from initial contact to job completion. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again and recommend them to others.

I repaired a leaky tub faucet in my home and noticed the house shut-off valve wasn't working as well as it could have. I figured I'd have it, and the pressure reducing valve, replaced before it became an emergency. I'm handy but not confident enough to take on something that could potentially flood my house or leave me without running water.

I called several plumbing companies for quotes and was told they'd have to come out to look at it. Some companies wanted as much as $80 for a service call just to give me a price. I found one who would give me an estimate for a $30 service call fee, but the estimate for the work was $800! (For comparison, I asked how much they would have charged to fix the leaky tub faucet. They said $275. That project took me 15 minutes, a $40 faucet cartridge, and a $15 tool that I didn't have.)

I was about to give up when I saw an ad for Cameron Plumbing in my HOA newsletter. I went to their website and told them what I needed through their online contact form. It was a weekend, so I wasn't expecting to hear back until Monday. Within several hours, I had an email reply with an estimated range of prices. They said if I could send a picture of its location, they would give me a firm quote. I sent the photo, and their price was less than half of what the other company had quoted.

Their plumber, Steve, was here right when they said he would be. He got the job done in just over an hour. The work was well-done, and I don't feel like I was taken advantage of. I would definitely call on them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
