As a Camarillo resident, I really appreciate having this old school, no-frills hardware store at my disposal. I recently made my third visit to Cam Plumbing and once again the experience was positive. I would consider myself a handy person, however, plumbing is definitely not my specialty. That said, I recently had my garbage disposal fail and purchased a replacement online. I soon learned that the new disposal was much larger than the old. With this, I had to reroute and redesign the dual sink, dishwasher, and garbage disposal pipe configuration. As I've done with other projects, I took several smart phone pics of the existing setup and headed to the store. Once again, the gentleman at the counter was super knowledgeable and based on our brief conversation and review of pics, he hit the floor and began gathering exactly what I needed. Finished up our business and I proceeded home with a bag of pipe, glue, adapters and various compression fittings to tackle the install per our discussion and his instructions. It came together beautifully and I have to say, the plumbing looks professional grade. Great experience, will repeat.

We have had the pleasure of working with this shop many times. They replaced our heating and installed air conditioning and have fixed a few emergency plumbing situations and a gas leak!!! There are extremely professional, CLEAN, and always on time. Referred to family and friends and they all had excellent experiences. They even have a nice lady call to say they are on the way. You will never find a more organized business. Thank god for Camarillo Plumbing!!!!! Go to them without hesitation!

Had two days worth of major slab plumbing repair done. Plumbers coordinating with leak detectors and fixed the problem quickly. They did an excellent job, were very respectful, and did minimal damage to my home. I would highly recommend them.

I cannot recommend this company. I had a water leak at my house over a holiday weekend and they took advantage and charged me 2000 bucks for 4 hours work. Use amico plumbing instead. They are honest.

I am a tile contractor, and at times need, hard to find small parts or GOOD & KNOWLEDGEABLE advice to complete a job.
This place is a treasure! They know what breaks, have the parts you need to repair a faucet, toilet, drain, sweat a pipe, etc. They actually know how to fix it, and, if it takes a special tool, they have that in stock too! They are TOPS , IMO.

Would not recommend for AC service. At last minute they came up with lame excuse and cancelled scheduled appointment on a Friday afternoon. Then tried to reschedule for weeks later. I scheduled the appointment 5 days prior, do not count on them to keep their commitments.

This place is sad! I am a big believer in shop local. I went in to ask for some basic questions and advice and the response I got from the plumber was ""well what have you bought here?"" He insinuated they don't give out advice for free. I've shopped at this place for years and since I didn't buy anything this time, they wouldn't even give me advice! Sad to say, I will never walk into this place again! The funny part is I actually had work where I needed a plumber too!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMERS SERVICE!!! I have been to this place several times and have had some of the worst experiences with the guys at the counter. Today I tried to return an item I purchased in 2013 and the guy wanted nothing to do with it. Unfriendly from the get go and he gave some POOR excuse that there were parts missing....off of a hose! I try and keep my $ outta big box stores and keep them in my community and look how ungrateful they are. I don't know if this guy was lazy or what but at least be nice about things. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone, I will tell my experience to everyone I can and will never shop here again. Go to B&B, they are 1000% friendlier. And the one star is because I can't choose no stars!

My experience with Camarillo Plumbing was a good one. The Plumber Dan was on time and gave us some options for the garbage disposal issues we were having (and gave us some tips on how to avoid these issues going forward). He was honest, very knowledgeable, and professional. I did my homework and called around for pricing, although they were not the cheapest they definitely seemed to be competitive. I would absolutely use them again.

Went in here for a quick trip to buy a splash guard for our garbage disposal. He checked his store and computer to see if he could order one for me. Unfortunately he couldn't and all the ones he had were too large. He did tell me that a local store 2 min away would more than likely have the part and he guessed at the manufacturer. He was correct on the manufacturer and the store. Thanks for being knowledgable and helping a girl out by pointing me in the right direction. I can now use my disposal without being splashed by the contents of it.
