THE OTHER COMPANY: Our water heater went out last year, and a company called Affordable Water Heaters Inc. was right there to rip us off. We paid over twice what it should have been--$3600! (Being first-time homeowners, we didn't know that crooks will send out their stickers to place on your water heater.) Less than a year later, our water heater stopped working. Inadequate wiring had been used, and it burnt up. This malfunction could have burnt down our house or given someone a life-defying shock. PLEASE know that Affordable Water Heaters Inc. are crooks, and PLEASE know that Camarillo Plumbing & Paint are NOT.

CAMARILLO PLUMBING & PAINT: Kevin arrived at my house and took care of the problem rather quickly, replacing all the wires. And he didn't GOUGE me on the price. I had a pit in my stomach when Kevin arrived; the pit disappeared before he left my house.

It's not just that Kevin fixed the problem, it's that he was immediately trustworthy. Do you know how refreshing it is to be able to TRUST the people you hire? Of course you do. (I found out my grandfather trusted Camarillo Plumbing long before I inherited the house.)

This is my first experience with Camarillo Plumbing, and it won't be the last.

Called this morning. Had a appointment this afternoon. Shon was on time, neat, clean and went right to work. Diagnosed the problem instantly and was done in a flash. Very pleased with the work.

I have used Camarillo Plumbing and paint for 30 plus years and was always happy until the last few times I used them. Leslie, the girl that answers the phone is so rude. Last time she was rude and didn't call me back when she said she would, I had to call her twice. I called them out this week and they were over an hour late. She didn't seem to bother by the fact that they were late, when I called she offered no apologies. She told me on the phone that the work was warranties for a year. I just looked at my invoice and it's warranties for 30 days. I always recommend them when anyone asked me who I used, but I won't be anymore and I will now need to find another plumber. I told them last time I used them how rude Leslie was and I thought they would talk to her. She is going to lose them business, she's lost them mine and I will not recommend them anymore

As a Camarillo resident, I really appreciate having this old school, no-frills hardware store at my disposal. I recently made my third visit to Cam Plumbing and once again the experience was positive. I would consider myself a handy person, however, plumbing is definitely not my specialty. That said, I recently had my garbage disposal fail and purchased a replacement online. I soon learned that the new disposal was much larger than the old. With this, I had to reroute and redesign the dual sink, dishwasher, and garbage disposal pipe configuration. As I've done with other projects, I took several smart phone pics of the existing setup and headed to the store. Once again, the gentleman at the counter was super knowledgeable and based on our brief conversation and review of pics, he hit the floor and began gathering exactly what I needed. Finished up our business and I proceeded home with a bag of pipe, glue, adapters and various compression fittings to tackle the install per our discussion and his instructions. It came together beautifully and I have to say, the plumbing looks professional grade. Great experience, will repeat.

We have had the pleasure of working with this shop many times. They replaced our heating and installed air conditioning and have fixed a few emergency plumbing situations and a gas leak!!! There are extremely professional, CLEAN, and always on time. Referred to family and friends and they all had excellent experiences. They even have a nice lady call to say they are on the way. You will never find a more organized business. Thank god for Camarillo Plumbing!!!!! Go to them without hesitation!

Had two days worth of major slab plumbing repair done. Plumbers coordinating with leak detectors and fixed the problem quickly. They did an excellent job, were very respectful, and did minimal damage to my home. I would highly recommend them.

I cannot recommend this company. I had a water leak at my house over a holiday weekend and they took advantage and charged me 2000 bucks for 4 hours work. Use amico plumbing instead. They are honest.

I am a tile contractor, and at times need, hard to find small parts or GOOD & KNOWLEDGEABLE advice to complete a job.
This place is a treasure! They know what breaks, have the parts you need to repair a faucet, toilet, drain, sweat a pipe, etc. They actually know how to fix it, and, if it takes a special tool, they have that in stock too! They are TOPS , IMO.
