Billy, ably assisted by Andrew and Nick, did an amazing job of replumbing the downstairs in my 1947 era handcrafted house. Having to navigate through a dark, dirt filled crawlspace did not deter them from removing a mass of old crumbling pipes and replacing it with a new system. Also removed old unused gas lines, old cooler lines, and assorted detritus from previous owners. They did not break a single one of the custom tiles in the shower, kitchen or bath despite hours of drilling! Highly recommend this company!-Robin B & Robert W

Disappointed is an understatement. This is a summary of our personal experience with Cal's Plumbing. We had hoped we had found our ""go to"" plumbing company. Based upon the many 5-star reviews we found, we expected much more than this.

Our tub faucet was broken, would spin all the way around, and needed repaired. We contacted our Home Warranty company and was prepared to use their services, which would have only cost us $75 and they would have paid the rest. We weren't too thrilled with the reviews received by the plumbing company the warranty company was planning to send to us. So, we researched and decided to go it alone. Based on the many 5-star reviews we contacted Cal's Plumbing.

We were advised prior to scheduling the service that there is a $79 fee just to come out, which is typical of most service providers. However, if we had them perform any work, the $79 would be applied towards the work. We scheduled the appointment and the soonest they could come was a week later. My wife was home when the tech arrived. He found the problem, had the part needed, and finished the job. All total he was at the house less than an hour and spent most of his time trying to find where the water shut-off was located. The actual repair was less than 10 minutes. We were charged $262 for this service. My wife paid the tech because what is she supposed to do? It seemed like a lot of money, but what do we know.

Upon further reflection, we decided to do a little research. The part that the tech replaced was a plastic piece called a bathroom faucet cartridge replacement. A quick search online and discussion with any hardware or plumbing store reveals this part can be purchased for as little as $9.99 or even as expensive as $34. Hmm? Seems like we were charged about $225 for labor and that's assuming they will tell us the part they used was at the high end of cost. I must be in the wrong profession because $225 for less than an hour of work (more like 10 minutes of actual work) is a great wage! Surely this is a mistake.

We contacted Cal's Plumbing and were told that they charge by the job and give no regard to the cost of the part or how long they are actually on the job working. We were basically told tough, this is the charge, nothing they can or will do. Even after bringing our concerns to them, nothing. Their website says they are honest, trustworthy, and have integrity. We did not experience this.

Not sure how they got all those 5-star reviews. We were happy with the tech and the scheduling process, but the charges are outrageous. $262 for less than an hour on site, 10 minutes of work, and at most a $35 part. Buyer be warned. If you want to be overcharged, then Cal's is your plumber. Otherwise, I suggest seeking someone else.

I made an emergency call to Cal's Plumbing this afternoon. The water line to the toilet was loose and spraying water. Jonathan came to the rescue, diagnosed the problem and replaced the value. While I was pretty stressed about the situation, it turned out to be a quick and relatively easy job for him.

The business was very responsive when I made the call and Jonathan was efficient and very professional. Thanks for saving the day!

Very quick response From Cal's Plumbing when my water main was accidentally pierced during a dig. Leonard was professional, competent, very neat, and he carefully explained all the work he performed and all the parts he used. The repair was done in two steps: a temporary fix right away because the right-sized parts were not stocked on the truck, and then a permanent repair the next morning when all the parts and equipment were available. My only complaint is that the parts weren't there on the first visit--my waterline was 1 1/4"" instead of the apparently more typical 1"" diameter. Though I had to pay two service charges as a result, the quality and timeliness of Leonard's work couldn't be better.

We purchased a house last fall that has presented many, many surprises to us in regards to plumbing. Billy has done several jobs for us over the past 6 months and we have been very happy with the outcome. Dependable, professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Cal's!

Amazing work! Cal's provided an honest up front quote and was at my door in 30 minutes on a Saturday! We had friends from out of town coming to lunch and to not have an available toilet would've been absolutely terrible.

Crisis averted! They took care of my problem in no time while being clean and courteous.

Would highly recommend for any plumbing needs and will be only using Cal's from now on.

When we moved to Tucson from KS 5 yrs ago, it took us a while until we found someone we could trust...
Cal's Plumbing (I take credit for finding them) is the absolute best. Honest, dependable, and Leonard loves dogs .

We had an emergency on a Saturday night.. no water in the kitchen. Darn, I was hoping for a new faucet. However it had charcoal stuff clogging the screen. Leonard could have sold me a new faucet but I didn't need one! That's honesty.

We have had Billy install A gas line to the grill and later fix an outdoor faucet.

We have ALWAYS had everything explained.

Who can say they enjoy having plumbers come to visit. We Can!!!

I recommend Cal's very highly. They did the work at a very reasonable price. Len, who did the work, is highly experienced and did very high quality work. I am going to stick with them.
