Rocael recently tied my new ADU sewer line to my existing house sewer at a competitive price and completed the work in a timely fashion. The patio trench was nicely patched with concrete. Work easily passed city an EBMUD inspections. Today during some unrelated patio and drainage work a crack sewer pipe appeared to be leaking. Rocael was called and came out within a couple of hours to scope the pipes and diagnose the problem. Turned out this was a decommissioned pipe with some residual water. I would not hesitate recommending Rocael for any plumbing job.

I contacted calmos plumbing and other plumbers. Out of 4 other plumbers he was the only one that caught my neighbors sewer line that tied into mine. He immediately knew how to resolve the issue and followed through with the work quickly. He replaced both sewer line in a day and also got us our certificate within the next few days after. They cleaned up well and patched the concrete and asphalt in better shape than it was before. If you need a plumber this is your guy.

Great service, knowledgeable, efficient and reliable. Rocael came to our house and diagnosed the issue quickly. We discussed the project and cost, he said he'd be back the following day and complete the work including inspection and permits. He delivered and was reasonably priced. Very satisfied and reccomend for any sewer issues.

Calmos just completed a complete sewer replacement for my house in Castro Valley. It was done because I just purchased that hhouse, ouse and it was requirement. Castro Valley has a rebate program where you get 2000.00 back. Calmo's was one of the contraccontractorstor that is on the list. I got bid from 5 different plumbing companies. The prices were all over the place, and I mean all over the place. I got one which was $31,000 and the lowest was $4,600, Calmo's came in at the upper middle. Calmos was not the cheapest, but here are the reason why I selected this company. 1. There were the only company that found my clean out, to do a proper camera scope. The other companies wanted to charge me 1500 just to install a clean out, so they can camera scope my sewer line. Calmos came in and went on my roof and went down the vent and later found my buried clean out. Second, Calmos was the first company to come back with an estimate. I do work in the construction industry but, not in plumbing, I know that accepting the lowest bid, is not always the best opinion. So I decide to go with Calmos. Lucky I did because during the work, we found out that my sewer line actually crosses to my neighbor and connect to theirs. The City would not allow it, so they made me do a new trench and go all the way to the street. It is not Calmos fault, it was an issue with my sewer line. The change order was very reasonable with the additional work that Calmos had to do.
1. Communication was on point, I worked with Rocael, he understood what is required for the Castro Valley Rebate. Easy to be reached and called before the work was started to prepare.
2. The price was very reasonable, They worked really fast with heavy machinery, and understood the requirement for the sewer.
3. Althought his prices are the not the cheapest, but, I feel if I went with the lower priced contractor, and the issue about doing the new line to street, it would of increased the cost significantly. The different between a new trench 15 deep and pipe bursting is significant. I work in construcdtion and understand this part.
A tip for the owner Rocael, I love your calls, but, email is my perferred method of commuication. I think a combintation of calls, and using email for communication would help alot. Thanks for your great work!
