Just speaking as a lady that does not know her way around tools or hardware, I really appreciated that the gentleman who helped me the other day find a nut for a missing piece on my elliptical; he took a look a was pretty sure they didn't have it but he gave it a try anyways and did find one that fit. Great little place tucked away in K town. Their prices are really great for lightbulbs, of all things. I was able to find regular bulbs, which are getting harder to find with everything going LED, and at a good price too. I come here a lot to have keys made.

They have a solid inventory and very helpful service.

Came to buy an advertised plumbing item, but was told that item was no longer that price. Was $170 more expensive. Even though it was still advertised at the sale price the next month. Very disappointed.

Been doing a lot of DIY projects recently and I've been to your usual hardware and tool stores, with an average experience. The older gentleman who was working the day I went helped me get everything I needed. I was in and out of the store in 5 minutes. Definitely my new go to for anything hardware/DIY related!!

Called Callahan around 1pm to see if they could come to my parents' house to fix some leaky faucets. They weren't sure if their plumber would have time that same day. But at 3:30pm, I got a call that they'd be sending someone over.

They came to inventory the parts he needed and then called me to tell me how much then parts and labor would cost $186 for 5 leaky faucets. I think that's reasonable given they were able to come the same day. He came back with the parts and got to work. It took less than an hour to complete! Their guy was so nice and friendly.

I won't hesitate to call them again for any plumbing issues at my parents' house.

Very helpful and friendly, surprisingly bigger inside than it looks from the street. It felt comforting inside like they would have exactly what I needed to solve my repair issue (and they did!). I will definitely be back to support this local business!

Callahan had everything I was looking for to complete the home repair tasks I've been working on! They beat the prices of bigger retail stores and the employees were very helpful and friendly. I'm coming back for every job I have after this, and referring friends and family to them. Keep it up!

Like many others, I've been on the hunt for cleaning supplies/gloves/masks/etc. I gave up after seeing the long lines and empty shelves at other stores, knowing I didn't stand a chance. I went in to get some products to deal with a plumbing issue, and after talking to a kind gentleman (wearing gloves and a protective face mask), I found out that they had:

1) all the supplies needed to fix the problem
2) a handyman on-site who could help me out
3) AND MASKS, GLOVES, BLEACH, DETERGENT, AND DISH SOAP! (WHAT?!)

What a great surprise! The staff was knowledgeable, patient with me, and helpful (I also noticed some Spanish speaking employees helping Spanish-speaking customers). Thank you for remaining open during this time and being so friendly and helpful!

10/10 - WILL SHOP HERE AGAIN (AND SOON!)
