Unfortunately, I need to write this review.

Robert is a very nice person. I used his services twice at my home in Yucaipa. Both times, he was right on time, professional and nice. I trusted him.

The first time, he came out and told me that he COULD NOT do a lot of the small tasks that I needed. He did complete 2/3 of them. I was disappointed, as he said, over the phone, that all of the projects would be in his realm of experience. He was so pleasant and nice, that I called him again, to my same house when I was putting it up for sale.

I was in a time-crunch, I requested assembly of bar stools that were in boxes, 2 ceiling fans installed, some small painting projects, a small patio table from home depot taken out of the box and put together in 2 parts, and some electrical plastic plates replaced/updated. He literally put plates on 2 of four outlets, assembled the table in 15 minutes and then tried to give me a bill for 3 hours of work, including ""assembly of bar stools"". I CALLED HIM OUT on it. My son discovered that the bar stools were already assembled, IN BOX!!!
When I asked Robert about that, he said, ""Well, they did have a lot of wrapping that we took off."" Whaaaaat????
I think that he thought that I 'was old' and would believe whatever he told me! Also, he tried to charge me for one of the ceiling fans that he DID NOT INSTALL!
When I threatened to cancel the check to him, he returned and 'apologized' for the misunderstanding of charging me for the bar stools and the NON-INSTALLATION of the ceiling fan.

Please, Solera Residents, do not trust his nice demeanor. He and his crew were at a home improvement store, sitting around on the patio furniture, and they recognized me and were verbally, that I could hear, making jokes about me.

I contacted Robert when I moved back into my house and needed repairs caused by a horrible tenant. I have used his services continuously since then, for the last 2 years. Robert is honest and will tell you if something is out of scope of knowledge. He will also give referrals if he has them. I obtained my house Painter through him and the job was so good, a neighbor came to ask me for the information and they got their house painted too. He is responsive and his prices are reasonable. I recommend him to anyone in the area.

I called this company in the attempt to get an estimate on some drywall work I needed done on my kitchen ceiling. I told Robert over the phone that I had attempted to do the work myself, but was ready to call a professional. He told me over the phone that he would probably not accept the job because he doesn't like working on a project that someone else has already started because it usually requires him to demo the job and start over from new so it turns out exactly how he wants it. Being in the construction field myself, this made perfect sense to me. So I told him thank you and that I would try to find someone else to do it, but he insisted that he swing by and give it a look. 30 minutes later, he showed up. He assessed the work that needed to be done, and gave me some pointers of what to look for, told me he thought I was capable of finishing it myself, showed me a couple of tricks on how to blend the patch job into the existing ceiling, and gave me the number to a couple of companies that he thought could handle the job if I didn't want to continue doing it myself. All of this he did on his own time and at no cost. He is professional, knows what he is talking about, and provided amazing customer service all while knowing he wouldn't be taking the job and therefor, not getting paid for his effort this afternoon. This to me is a sign of a great company and if I had ANY issues with any home improvement or the likes there of, that I didn't think I could do myself, he will be my first call without hesitation. Give him a call and find out for yourself.

I hired Robert to assemble a glider swing. He and his helper put it together quickly and thoroughly at the price quoted. He also took a look at another minor repair, explained what I needed, and recommended someone who could do it. I highly recommend him and would not hesitate to hire him again.

Just bought a new house, I had some issues with the water heater, Robert was able to stop by the same day. He came in, saw and fixed the issue right away and let me know what the issue was and how he fixed it. Very professional and courteous, definitely recommend.

Very good work, will definitely use him in the future. I had a ball valve leak after removing a palm tree. He came out the day I called him, and came promptly the next day to fix it. The repair was done in a reasonable amount of time and the price was reasonable.
