Elmer and his brother fixed all my issues, did neat work, were exactly on time and showed me why I had an intermittent toilet leak, which seemed very odd to me.

Elmer and Dennis were called by Homeserve, which is the insurance company that works with Dominion power to replace water lines. I can't speak more highly to the work they did and the courtesy they displayed while here. Instead of the less expensive, but more intrusive repair that the insurance company initially wanted to do, Elmer convinced them to replace the entire water line from the meter into the house. We were without water for about four hours but the job was done in one day (Other than coming back early the next morning to fill in the trench they had to dig from the water meter past where the utilities were buried.) their cleanup exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend Calix.

Skilled professionals originally from Honduras did very good job for my home. Had water line leak due to factory defective copper line inside the black pvc pipe. Difficult situation with roots/layout and the way home was originally built 40 years ago. They took time and made sure things are done properly. Good friendly church going people that I recommend for your plumbing needs.

I have come to learn following damage to my home that plumbing work Elmer Calix and Calix Plumbing did in the master bathroom of my home that could not be seen was substandard and caused leaking that did damage. Basically he did not properly fasten fixtures in my
Master shower - that caused leaking. There were also other problems with the rainfall attachment and one of the drains. I COULD NOT HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THE ISSUES UNTIL A VERY BAD LEAK AND DRYWALL BEING CUT TO FULLY EXAMINE HIS WORK.

When I invited him or his insurance to come and inspect the situation that has led to leaking into a lower level I was ignored or hung on.

Unfortunately - I will have no choice but to pay for the repairs out of pocket and file suit against Calix Plumbing in Court.

Wow, if I could add more stars, Calix would get them all. Today's total was 1/2+ less than what I paid 3 years ago for the same job. Elmer explained everything, he knows what he is doing and I was certain things will be fixed right. It's been a long time since I have been able to say with confidence I had a plumber to recommend.

We had a leaking yard a month ago and out of all the calls we made Calix came through the soonest and with the most fair price of all the bids. They finished replacing our water line quickly and the grass is already growing back in the areas that needed to be dug up. I highly recommend Calix to anyone who needs a plumber and will use them again when needed.

Very friendly, professional and they know their stuff. They even have great customer service - very rare. Even though they were busy and needed to schedule out a week or two, after hearing the desperation in my voice to help with my pool skimmers....they found time - that same day! The used detective work and some tools and found the problem - while providing the solution and they even also gave me tons of information and advice!

Very disappointed with the service at Calix Plumbing this time around. I had a leaking toilet, so I requested a service call. They (mis)diagnosed it as a problem with rusty tank bolts, so they replaced those for me. The cost of these bolts were $30, which seemed a bit unreasonable. (Looking online, they probably shouldn't have been more than a few bucks). Nevertheless, they got the job done in a timely and courteous manner. After receiving their paycheck, which included the materials fee, they left.

A couple days later, I noticed the leak again. I called Calix Plumbing and notified them. Elmer came to take a look at it about a week later and discovered the leak was actually caused by a crack on the tank, not the bolts. I ordered a new tank, and when it arrived, I asked him to come back again to help install it properly.

I tried to contact a few times and left him a voicemail/text message. Sadly, he never responded or followed up. Perhaps my job was considered too small? I guess I'll never know. But basically, I paid for an incomplete service (since they never properly fixed the leak) and unnecessary ""materials.""
