California Repipe Specialists came to my house in January 2016 and Repiped my entire house. I spoke with Shane originally and his crew came and did my entire house ( 2700 sq feet) in one day. The drywall guys came on a different day after the initial city inspection to finish patching the walls and ceilings. The drywall guys were great at matching the texture on the ceilings and walls. The Repipe crew were very careful and covered all the furniture and did an excellent job. It is a very dusty and noisy job and your house will need paint after. Also make sure all the taps are working to your satisfaction (temperature plus volume) working before the crew leave. Once they leave, it will be difficult to get them back for small jobs like taking a look at something for the second time. As for the crew they were excellent and I would hire them again and recommend them to my friends without hesitation.

Very efficient and friendly. Good customer service. BBB rated. They have their own crews. 9 plumbers took one day for repiping with PEX, and 7 drywall guys took one day for their job. They did a good job covering with plastic and drop cloths. I have recommended them to my neighbors. DO NOT go with a company that hires subcontractors. You will never know what you are going to get.

We contracted them for a whole house re-pipe with PEX. Prices were very fair. We thought we would have gone with copper but, although cheaper, they showed us the advantages of going with PEX. The procedure was well explained and we felt confident in their work. A 2-day process we were told. The crew that came on day #1 (my husband was here) with several guys, who all seemed to hustle and got things done quickly. Yes, as others have stated, the job is messy (more like dusty from cutting through drywall and plaster), but they took extra steps to put down paper on the floors and such. Day #2 (not back-to-back days by the way) I met with Ryan while we awaited the arrival of the city inspector. Ryan came solo. He was there to begin the sealing up of the holes, as much as he could, while we waited for the inspection. Ryan was great. Very polite and courteous and his work proved to be quite good. The inspector found three things that should have been done, but were not. The hot water pipe (in the sub area) was not insulated as it should have been, none of the pipes in the sub area had been secured to the joists and a ground wire had not been connected (or installed....not sure which). The inspector appeared annoyed and stated ""this is why you get an inspection!"" I wasn't sure what he was trying to convey and Ryan took the time to fill me in. Although Ryan wasn't on the job day #1, he, almost apologetically, told the inspector he'd fix it. So here we are to day #3...my husband is back at the house, so Ryan could finish the holes and do the corrective measures the inspector called. My husband agreed with me that Ryan was great and did a good job. Thankfully, day #4 did not require us to be home because the inspector could do what he needed from the outside and in the sub area. So far very satisfied with their work, water pressure is much improved, but feel a little disillusioned that everything promised wasn't done. Next stop? Flooring this weekend! I'll be back, hopefully with a good review! *fingers crossed*

When giving quotation we were told the project will be done in 2-3 days. It took 10 days to finish work and it took three month to get city approval. It was headache to get the inspection done and make changes as required by city. While re plumbing bath tub fixtures purchased by me were not changed as promised. Watch for small print that charges you for city permit.

Shane and his crew exceeded all our expectations. Their quote was the lowest and it included more work than the other bids! After the job was completed, we had an issue that needed immediate attention. The crew responded quickly and resolved the problem. We highly recommend this company.

What a disappointment. Fair price for a job that apparently meets minimum code requirements. Unfortunately, code says nothing about customer service, or cooperating with other contractors, or spitting on your back porch. No follow-through, doesn't care about anything but getting his check. Might be OK for a GC that wants to hold his feet to the fire, but homeowners should avoid this guy.

Unlike the other two companies that bid my job, Shane Reed showed up on time, answered all my questions and gave me his step by step approach as to how he would manage the project. The job was a sixty year old, 7 unit apartment building with a laundry room and tenants in residence. On the agreed upon start date, Shane and his crew showed up at 8:00 AM and five days later we had new water and waste lines. They are truly repipe specialists. Every member of Shane'a team knows exactly what needs to be done and they work together like a well-oiled machine. The owner of the company came out to bid the job himself and when his crew arrived they delivered exactly as he promised. The crew was friendly, professional and took great care to protect my belongings during the repipe. I highly recommend this company.

California Repipe Specialists did the water and drainage on my Dad's house in Covina. They did a very fast job and were very polite. One other piping firm told me I would have to relocate washer and dryer to the den. That would have been a disaster. I would recommend California Repipe Specialists.

We had a slab leak and it was during the holiday. Needless to say, it was hard to get a plumber to come help. We called many repipe companies and Shane's was the only one that came out next day. When your water is off, you want help quickly. He was very knowledgeable and said he could start work in two days. Other companies told me they were too busy and it would be a whole week. He brought in a large crew and I had water by the end of the first day. It was a miracle. His crew was clean and courteous. Within a couple of days after city inspectors were here, Shane's drywall crew came in to close up the holes in my walls. They again were clean and polite. They also did a great job closing up the holes. I would not wish a slab leak on you, but if you are reading this you probably already have one. If you want your water back on quickly by a very professional crew, I would suggest California Repipe.
