A Company that you hire for repair comes to your home, tells you that they cannot do the repair, leaves and then charges you the full repair amount.

How WOULD that make you feel?? California Plumbing did EXACTLY THAT

04-03-24 TWO months later and NOTHING from this company who came to our home, told us that there was nothing that they could do, drove away and Charged us $504.70,

Retired couple on a fixed budget. If you don't want your folks treated like this, then DON'T HIRE THIS COMPANY.

I contacted this company because someone told us that the Septic Tank was full which was wrong, anyway, I ordered Service, they wouldn't take my check, so I had to DocuSign their payment voucher and give them my account information.

These people showed up here and determined that they could not get their hose down the opening at the top. They said they couldn't do anything and left.

Today 12-28-23 a charge showed up on my account for $504.70.

Contacted their office and was told when I signed their voucher I authorized the $504.70 payment and basically that I could do nothing about it.

I am a U.S Navy Veteran, my wife and I are retired, on a fixed budget and being charged for service which was not done is something I have never done to anyone.

WHAT DO Y'ALL THINK ABOUT THIS?

They charge for a service call when they didn't follow simple instructions .
They don't answer their calls.
They hang up on their customers .
Trust me and use anyone else but them.
I hired drain dudes after and they were amazing.

They will pump money out of your wallet and bank account.
Very dishonest and crooks. They said they had to dig 3 feet down to get to the lid. They charge over $260 to dig. I asked them to leave it uncovered so that I can install risers. They buried it. I dug it myself to install risers and it was only 6 inches deep. The quote to pump was $300. Then they said they needed to charge me an additional $180 because there was more than usual and stuff that should not be in septic. Then they recommended opening the other lid for addition dig fee and put a camera down to look another $800 plus. I told them no.

Do yourself the favor and use another company, I have been dealing with them for the past several weeks. It took them 2 weeks to get their internet back and lets just say...I have yet to receive a response to my numerous emails sent. Avoid this company at all costs, there are so many septic companies in the nearby area who are much cheaper than them as well and probably have better customer service.

Do yourself the favor and use another company, I have been dealing with them for the past several weeks. It took them 2 weeks to get their internet back and lets just say....I have yet to receive a response to my numerous emails sent.

I had scheduled them to empty a septic tank at one of my rental properties while I was out of town. They charged my card and sent me one little picture (once I requested it twice) that it was complete, the tenants were still complaining when I returned...So I went to take a look myself and it was still full, I immediately called them and explained the situation, they said no worries they will schedule another technician to come out and empty it while I am there.

I call them this morning to make sure someone is coming and they are wanting payment again for a service that was not rendered..I told them I will not be paying again for a service that wasn't completed. Zarah immediately hung up.

They have already billed me for a service that was not performed. I asked them to send me a work order or some proof that a technician went out, they couldn't.

Avoid this company at all costs, there are so many septic companies in the nearby area who are much cheaper than them as well and probably have better customer service.

I am now jumping through hoops to make sure the tank is emptied.

Israel of California Pumping did a thorough job in pumping our septic tank. The scheduler was also very friendly and did exactly what she said she was going to do by calling us before the technical arrived.
We have used the company for decades.

The absolute worst!!
They are exactly what you imagine when you think a old school scam artist contractor stereotype. They ""tested"" my septic tank which had been pumped clean a week before by the septic maintenance service we routinely use and it worked fine. Before they arrived I checked it personally and it was empty. They did not know it was already inspected and given an all clear but within 2 seconds after arriving they said we need and all new septic system and that our perfectly operational existing system was critically failing even though it wasn't and the only course was a brand new system installed by them. Completely dishonest classic con game and a complete ripoff scam. Save yourselves and heed my warning because it is late for me. Learn from my mistake and don't be a victim of a scam!!

Buyer beware. I paid for a septic system cert for a real estate transfer. What I got was a huge dig-up in my yard, and a failed system report with a quote for $5,700 worth of work needed (new leach line). I was highly skeptical, since the system had been certified 3 years earlier, and I had no issues at all in that 3 years. I asked them to call back with an explanation and no one called. They are hiding from me.

I called a competitor and he told me their business model is well known this way. I got him out, he tested and certified the system. Problem solved. Avoid this vendor.

This is the first time i post on YELP ! ! ! Technician beats up concrete lids with metal bar to the point to create 3 inch gaps, then he suggested to cover gaps with plastic bags to keep dirt from getting in. I called headquarter and requested broken lids to be replaced and they told me that according to contract, they are not responsible for broken lids.
This was not an accident the guy just wanted to get done quick and go home. Receptionist recommended to install raiser and pay them more money to fix the problem they created in the first place. I have witnesses and photos to prove it.
I have been living in this house for 15 years and every time i personally carefully remove the lids, but this time i had to go to work and trusted a professional to do it.
They refused to replace lids.
They will break your lids then suggest to install a raiser to fix problem and charge you more money.

I called several companies about locating and pumping our septic tank, but I went with this company because of Claire, the person who answered the phone. I had many questions and she patiently answered them. The team came out to my house on time on a Friday afternoon and did the job. I would rate them 4 1/2 stars. The only thing I wish they would have done was not leave 2 mounts of dirt left over from where they put in the risers.
