I picked CPP based on Bonnie G's review. She's one of the few elites in North County that will actually give a sub-three star review if she's not satisfied. She gave these guys 5 stars. So, I went ahead and booked a repair..

So my issue was more of an emergency but it wasn't on the weekend or night. I could tell that the plumber wasn't really interested at first, but after some explaining of the job he said his price would have to be between 200 and 300 to make it worth his time.. I had already researched this job and it would take about 2 hours for a plumber to do it right. So it was a high quote, but I needed it done right away and wanted to give work to an independent plumber.

The work - Safety First is CPP's motto and it's reiterated several times during their job. One example is that he used a more expensive fire retardant gel, over a water spray bottle. He also used a fire mat when using the torch. On an unrelated plumbing job with another company they didn't use either of those. So rest easy knowing that CCP uses safe practices.

Price - I was surprised that CPP actually tried to request more money than the high mark of their quote. it was a two hour job, on the button. Of course I didn't pay it, and it just bummed me out. He also noticed a leak from the area he was working on, that wasn't there before he worked on it, and he quoted almost $500 to fix it. Again I said no.. The next day the leak disappeared and has not leaked since.

On an unrelated plumbing issue, I had another plumber just look over the workmanship of CPP's work and they said it was done properly. So their work is solid. They also explained why my pipe leaked and fixed itself and said it didn't require a replacement at this point in time. Glad I didn't pay $500 to replace it.

So should you go with CPP? Depends if you want to go with a one-plumber shop or a large corporate plumber. It also depends on the job too. There were positives and areas needing improvement (price). If you need a handyman plumber, CPP is a good option.

Over the course of several years, Tino of California Pacific Plumbing has fixed plumbing issues or installed new plumbing equipment in our home. His always does first class work and he is a clean person, who leaves your home spotless. It is important to have a plumber who is available during emergencies and whom you know will show up. The rate he charges for his services is very fair and he does not hit you with added charges or delays after he starts the work. I like to do business with people who know their craft and perform to the highest standards and still charge a fair price. You can't go wrong hiring California Pacific Plumbing and they are a business to whom you will return in the future.

The latest job Tino did for us was to install two new toilets with bidet seats. We purchased the toilets at a dealer Tino recommended and the price for the toilets was less than the Home Depot price for the same toilets. As we have come to expect, the work was completed expeditiously within 24 hours of calling for service. Tino called us 30 minutes before his scheduled arrival to tell us he would arrive on time. After the toilets were installed, Tino checked and adjusted our water pressure at no additional charge. That's good old fashioned service that keeps customers returning in the future. Thank you once again Tino for your usual first class service.

I had this company install a whole house filter after Palomar Plumbing tried to gouge me on a quote. Tino Arce is this company. He is a one man band but does a great job. He quoted me a price almost 1/2 of what Palomar's was and did a top notch job. His solder joints are very clean. He mounted the system in a very secure way and explained each step he performed. He even inserted that special paper between a copper pipe and a metal bracket to prevent a chemical reaction that corrodes copper. I only had to wait a few days before he was available. He responded to my email and text requests in a reasonable amount of time. [It's hard to answer a text when you have a torch in your hand]. I highly recommend Tino for plumbing work. By the way, my brother, asked for his name and had him replace a shower faucet system [had to open drywall] and told me Tino did a good job for him as well. I will be remodeling my master bath next year and I have no doubt I will have Tino do the work.

We've hired Tino four times to help us with projects big and small. He has gone above and beyond each time. He is incredibly thorough and you can tell he takes pride in his work. He will NOT cut corners and double checks everything! Not to mention he's super friendly and I trust him in our home. He's our go to plumber!

Tino repaired the two showers in my house because the shower was leaking and the hot water was not coming out of the shower. He came with the replacement parts and replaced the cartridges. The cost was very reasonable compared to another plumbing company I contacted. He also installed the two new shower heads I bought and did not charge me extra! He was very informative with what he was doing and very professional. Unexpectedly, one of the shower handles was too big. He installed it temporarily until he can bring another one that will fit. Unfortunately the temporary shower handle broke after a couple of shower use and it happened when I had family visiting and it was Saturday evening. Tino went out of his way to come on a Sunday to replace the shower handle and did not charge extra except for the parts he replaced. I really appreciate his kindness and for giving such extraordinary service. I highly recommend him if you need ANY plumbing repair.

Tino was very knowledgeable, efficient, and meticulous. I am a curious person and like to gain knowledge whenever possible. He was very professional and explained to me every step as I looked on. He was also very reasonably priced. I had an Awesome experience and recommend him highly.

I've had Tino at my house for 3 repairs. The first was my toilet.

The second was a small filter leak which turned into a larger project when Tino was educating me about water pressure in my house. As it turned out, my pressure was dangerously high and it needed to be repaired or risk a pipe bursting in my house. I trust Tino 100%. If he says something has to be done to protect my house, I do it ASAP.

My most recent repair was a new hot water heater. Tino brought the entire system up to code and worked tirelessly all day, literally ALL DAY. He encountered some problems which was from the manufacturer/product and Tino promised me he would resolve it by calling them the next day. He did...and his resolution (if the issue didn't resolve itself) was to put the customer first and not ruin future business. Impressive!

Thankfully, everything resolved itself. Clear hot water for days!

I love having a plumber I can trust with his recommendations and my bank account appreciates not being drained (pun intended!).

Tino does great work! He's very thorough, even before he arrives in your home. You never have to worry about his quality of work as he explains in detail what he's doing and why. He uses upgraded materials and warranties his labor for two years! You also don't have to clean up after him because he is very conscientious about maintaining a clean and safe workspace. I will definitely hire him again and I highly recommend you hire him too!

Tino is the best and we have had MANY horrible plumbers (5). He is courteous, knowledgeable, and extremely experienced in his craft. He explains things very well and makes smart recommendations to save time or money. We have had him work on two complicated jobs and he has an arsenal of fixes for the not so normal plumbing issue. If you're in the Escondido area and in need of plumbing services, I would highly recommend Tino! My back flow preventer pipe was leaking and looked like was getting worse, so I gave Tino a call. He came that same day in the afternoon and fixed the leak! Very professional, polite, and informative! He will teach you little tid bits about plumbing while working. So awesome! He does things by the book and doesn't take shortcuts. Also has a 2 year labor warranty on everything he works on! He's really passionate about plumbing, checks his work, then checks it again. Glad I called him!
