Awesome job by Christian & Aaron! Very professional and did a great job! Thanks guys!

Had an issue with a broken vent pipe in one of my bathrooms (the joy of an almost 50 year old home).
Called the office and Chris and Ulysses showed up and quickly and very cost effectively replaced the broken vent line with a minimum of hassle.
I hate when things break, but for any future plumbing issues, I know who I will call.

I agree with another reviewer that this company does not know what they're doing. We had a leak in our kitchen. They did all the ""tests"" and couldn't find the leak. My plumber came by and broke up the concrete in our kitchen to get a visual since he assumed that this company did all the tests and did them accurately. Well after all that he discovered that it was the hose bibs in the kitchen were leaking which didn't require us to break through the concrete. If this company had done their job they would have realized that the hose bibs were leaking by doing a pressurized test on the water system at a pressure higher than 60psi. Keep in mind my plumber was able to find the leak with no cameras and no pressure test. Just good old fashion critical thinking and process of elimination. This company is a waste of time and money ($320 to be exact). Do not trust your home owners insurance and the companies they recommend. Do your research!

Wish I could not even give them one star. They had no idea what they were doing, called another plumber and it took five minutes to find the leak.

Sorry - not impressed. I just called to get a quote, nothing more. But they railed me into giving my address and tel no and I didn`t want to be rude. They`ve called back a few times but we`ve had a non-leak-related emergency here so I haven`t been available to answer the phone until today. They just called again to ""schedule a visit for today"" (not what I wanted in the first place, I was just after an estimate) and when I tried to explain that actually we didn`t have a leak after all as I`d first thought and it is all fine the woman cut me off mid-sentence with ""ok thank you goodbye"" and hung up on me!
I get that they are now not going to ""make a sale"" with me, but I may well have used them in the future had I been treated a little better. Not now. Felt it was all about the money and couldn`t even stay on the phone for the 5 seconds longer it would have taken me to explain that we actually didn`t have a leak and to thank them anyway for their call back. Happy for them if they are so busy they needed to get to the next call, but a little common courtesy would go a long way.

When the water company notified me about excess water usage, I called California Leak Detection, based on the positive Yelp comments. Chris and Ulisses just completed the work... Chris explained my options and we discussed the best and most efficient--and least expensive-- way to solve the problem. They showed me each step of the work as they went along, and explained what they were doing and why. They were on time both days that they came to my house and cleaned the work area each day. They were very professional and personable. I highly recommend this company!

Late, but traumatizing none the less. As a new homeowner, my experience makes me think twice about buying a home. We found a slab leak 6 months after moving in. Okay...no biggie. Easy fix. Our insurance recommended CLDS (note to self: do not trust your insurance). Making the first appointment was great, however getting them to come back out was a different story. Long story short- after 3 missed appointments, incorrect installment of our washer/broken piece, re-flooding of our house... Our 2 week temp ordeal turned into a month and a half-nightmare. Buyer beware.

From Maureen and Dee who answer the phones to Tom, Chris (the owner) and Ulisses...they were professional and honest and aimed to please. We've had slab leaks before where many holes were knocked out of my walls to try and find the source of the leak. Not so with Tom and Chris. They found the source immediately and offered various solutions to our problem. The problem was solved quickly and less expensive than my husband and I could have hoped for. This team is efficient, kind and polite. In fact I'm having them come back this week to convert my electric stove top to gas.
An answer to prayer and overall, very impressed and relieved to have found reliable and trustworthy plumbers for future service needs! A big weight of worry has been lifted :)

My bathroom floor was hot and I didn't know what it was. I called my Insurance they suggested I call Cal. Leak Detection Specialists. ""Pete"" was the one who came to find the leak. He found it right away. He then gave me an estimate to fix it. He made me feel very comfortable. Dee called to schedule Pete and his crew out within the week. They were all very nice and worked very hard. Their clean up is AWESOME!!!!!! Thank you so much to Pete and his team. You guys were Great. I would call them again if something should break.......But lets hope nothing does. :)

10 days ago, we discovered a slab leak in our home... and there isn't enough room here to describe the upheaval & chaos in our lives that problem has wrought. Luckily, Farmers covered the loss & damage completely (but would not pay for a re-pipe, of course), but that's another story.
Throughout this process, Dee has been not only totally professional in dealing with their portion of this enormous project, but she has been incredibly helpful with advice & insight, based on her experience in this business.
Our tech was Tom, assisted by Christian, who did the leak detection/jackhammering/pipe fix, both of which were super-great guys, again, totally professional and also patient with my ton of questions.
I'm not sure you could find a nicer bunch of folks to help you navigate a problem of this magnitude. I can't recommend them more highly.
