I found California plumbing because of the yelp excellent yelp reviews and I wanted to make sure I posted to help those excellent reviews keep on coming .

I had my senior citizen parents visiting from out of the country and wouldn't you know it the gas heater died on a Saturday morning . I was not sure what to do and went to yelp .

They took care of everything while I was out on another errand

They were transparent with all potential costs ; they also tried to do the most cost effective fix first and scaled up from there .

They also were the ones who sourced the materials needed and always checked if I wanted to be the one or let them . Again , transparent about the fees .

And after much work everything was fixed and we had hot water , heat and a working stove . All while I was gone and my parents from out of the country managing on their own.

Our first contact was an emergency situation....extreme flooding caused by a burst water heater. Ilan showed up with crew, assessed the situation, purchased a replacement with added repair to the circulating heat pump...all within a few hours. His pricing was fair (I had received two other bids @ 40% higher...an unfortunate consequence of price gouging in emergency repair situations).

I've used him ever since 2017.

My building manager relies on Elon because ""his work never needs to be redone."" We live in a high rise. The toilet kept running even with a new flapper; he was able to identify a leak in the unit above and solve a persistent mystery. We will have him back to replace an angle stop that allows water to drip through after being turned off.
