Great service, called and service guy was here within the hour. Showed him the work that needed to be done. Pipes, facet and disposal were replaced. I had shopped around and got the best estimate from CA Green Plumbing compared to that of 3 other plumbing businesses.

Job was completed and pleased with outcome and service.

Raffi's one of the nicest, most honest guys we've hired. He's fixed a toilet leak for us in the past, which wasn't an expensive fix, so he charged us much less than we were expecting and adjusted our tank so that we used less water to save us money on our water bill.

Today, we had him come for two things:

1. Water heater maintenance - After a quick look over, Raffi said the water heater was probably 12+ years old and if we did maintenance on it, it'd probably cause it to stop working due to the sediment already accumulated likely creating a blockage. With the water heater at its end of life, he recommended that we just replace it soon before it becomes an emergency situation. I had been thinking of getting a tankless as well, but he said we didn't need it for the number of people living in our house. It wouldn't be worth it. It'd also have to be placed elsewhere because they have to be 3ft. from any windows in case of carbon monoxide. Raffi - saving us money and lookin' out for our safety! :D

2. Sump pump issue - Our washer is connected to a sump pump out back by our garage and we noticed that it wasn't pumping. Assuming there was a blockage or leak, we asked Raffi to take a look at it. After about 5 minutes, he called me over to point out that the power had just tripped and he had pushed the button to reset it. It didn't even occur to me that our sump pump was plugged in. I assumed it was hard-wired. We tested it with an empty load from the washer and sure enough, it started pumping. Raffi - Fixing things for computer professionals who didn't check if the plug was in and the power was on! :D

Though he made the drive and spent a short while with me, Raffi didn't charge us a thing. (""For what? Pushing a button?"") I highly recommend him if you want someone who will give you solid advice, help you save money, and won't give you (too much) crap for not checking the plug.

Called these guys at 10am on a Tuesday to clear a drain and snake all of the drains in the house. I told them it wasn't an emergency so he offered to have someone there the next day- of course I replied, ""any way you can get someone here today?"" An hour later, Narek showed up and was ready to work. He did everything quickly, was very nice, and even hooked me up with a cap for my drain access trap and re-installed the trap for the laundry drain- stuff he didn't have to do.

I highly recommend these guys - my experience was exactly as it should be. And the price was reasonable too.

i'm gonna give 5-starts. great service and stands behind his work.

i called Raffi a few months ago to have leak in shower faucet fixed. old house, old plumbing. he came over quickly, looked at it. gave me options (repair, complete repair (which included taking down wall), etc. recommended the cheapest option - repair just the faucet. had to go look for part (old stem), cut to fit, and installed. charge was very reasonable for the time it took.

now, yesterday - noticed that there was a leak from the same faucet. i called him late friday afternoon. couldn't make it right away, but came first thing the next morning. quick repair - had to tighten some parts (new washers had settled in). NO CHARGE !

he stands behind his work.

and he loves dogs.

what's not to like. i would use him again, and i would recommend him.

Scheduled an appointment to install a dishwasher last Thursday and had appointment for today (Monday). Rafi was able to get an appointment scheduled quickly for a time that worked well. Also, I was pleasantly surprised when he said he'd be there by 10 and was there within 5 minutes of the time given.

Rafi had a second employee show up to finish the job quickly and as the second man worked on uninstalling the old machine Rafi took time to look around the house to point out to this new homeowner where all of the major pipes were (something I hadn't made time to do myself). Then, back inside, the old machine was swiftly removed and placed outside to be replaced by the new machine standing by.

The job was done quickly and within an hour, as promised. The price was great compared to all other plumbers I could find that provided similar services. Timing was prompt and service was pleasant. Five stars!

Called California green plumbing in December last year and Raffi put in a new toilet for a very reasonable price, I noticed there was some water leaking from hose and Raffi came out and replaced it that afterrnoon at no charge. Looks like the hose was defective. Raffi is prompt, courteous and he gets the job done! I have dealt with other companies and they send out incompetent plumbers that like to charge sky high prices. I will always recommend California Green Plumbing

My first time experience with Raffi was good when he fixed my home's blocking pipe quickly, but my second time of getting a quote for some bigger project in our condo complex is not that satisfying. He was slow to respond, usually after I call or email more than once or twice, and in the end, he can't work on the project but it costs quite some waiting time on my side to make the decision. I guess his popularity in Yelp becomes a burden to his response time to customers.

Rafi is now our plumber. And if you need one you should make him yours as well. Our hot water stopped working. Most plumbers would have sold us a new water heater but Rafi fixed it with a small part and then made a great recommendation to make our system more efficient. Plus he loved our dog! A great experience all the way around

Raffi did everything right... called to confirm he was on his way, showed up exactly on time, and charged exactly the price structure we had talked about on the phone. He finished the work very quickly, showed me the defective parts after the job, and even asked if I was happy with everything before he left. I'll definitely use them again next time!
