Called California green plumbing in December last year and Raffi put in a new toilet for a very reasonable price, I noticed there was some water leaking from hose and Raffi came out and replaced it that afterrnoon at no charge. Looks like the hose was defective. Raffi is prompt, courteous and he gets the job done! I have dealt with other companies and they send out incompetent plumbers that like to charge sky high prices. I will always recommend California Green Plumbing

My first time experience with Raffi was good when he fixed my home's blocking pipe quickly, but my second time of getting a quote for some bigger project in our condo complex is not that satisfying. He was slow to respond, usually after I call or email more than once or twice, and in the end, he can't work on the project but it costs quite some waiting time on my side to make the decision. I guess his popularity in Yelp becomes a burden to his response time to customers.

Rafi is now our plumber. And if you need one you should make him yours as well. Our hot water stopped working. Most plumbers would have sold us a new water heater but Rafi fixed it with a small part and then made a great recommendation to make our system more efficient. Plus he loved our dog! A great experience all the way around

Raffi did everything right... called to confirm he was on his way, showed up exactly on time, and charged exactly the price structure we had talked about on the phone. He finished the work very quickly, showed me the defective parts after the job, and even asked if I was happy with everything before he left. I'll definitely use them again next time!

I've used Raffi a few times based on customer reviews. Once again, I called him out on a Saturday to clean out a draining problem I had with my home. He came a little earlier than scheduled, which was fine, and cleaned out my drain within 15 minutes. He explained the problem I had with my drain and didn't try to sell me other services. He dealt very fair and professionally with me. He goes out of his way to make sure he gives the customer excellent service.

Had a plumbing emergency and Raffi arrived on time, ready to go. As it turned out, my landlord had sent another plumber who showed up 2 minutes before Raffi (I had called the landlord a couple hours prior and hadn't heard back) I felt terrible for wasting Raffi's time, but he was really cool about it, so I would recommend California Green Plumbing to anyone, anytime-- If I could give them 6 stars I would!

Raffi has been super helpful in our plumbing needs. He has installed a whole-house water filter for us, and it went very smoothly. He installed a new faucet in our kitchen, and when it later had a drip under the sink (the holes in the old sink were the problem, not the installation or the faucet), Raffi came out promptly and fixed it. He's thorough and no-nonsense and very reasonable. We'll use him again!

So, this is the third time I have used California Green Plumbing and each time, the experience has been excellent.

This last job was a big one. I knew I had tree roots that had disintegrated part of my sewer pipe, but did not realize how bad the situation had become. We were literally a day or two away from having our sewage back up into our home. Raffi checked out the situation and found that not only was part of the pipe just plain GONE, but the remainder of the pipe was made from some sort of tar and paper which was collapsing in various places and had roots all growing in it. HIs solution: Trenchless repiping. His workers had to dig two trenches where the cleanouts were, but the other 40+ feet was done without digging up my backyard at all!

Raffi gave me a quote at the beginning and even though the job ended up being more work than expected - he stuck to the price. At one point there were 5 workers here. One of the trenches had to be dug a few feet deeper, plus there was an underground electrical line that had to be avoided the whole time the guys were digging. This made the whole job very arduous.

He and his crew arrived right on time. His workers did the job efficiently and cleaned up the area after themselves, too. What I thought was going to be a very stressful situation (for me) ended up being a ""non-event"".

BTW, Raffi has a great sense of humor and is very professional. Also, I noticed that he really looks at each situation and tries to come up with a number of ways the task can be accomplished. The first time I used him, he misunderstood me and thought I couldn't afford to do the job. So, he proceeded to tell me how to do it myself, so I could patch it up for a while until I could afford to get it done right. I like people who will work with you and treat you like a human being.

His prices are always fair and, frankly, compared to other quotes I've gotten - downright inexpensive.

Can't recommend him enough!
