I found Raffi thru yelp, and I have to say he is the very rare real deal a great plumber who is trustworthy. We have had very serious plumbing problems for many years, and our pipes gave up the ghost this past week. Raffi came right away and very quickly found the primary problem, fixed it, couldn't have been better in terms of his rates and both my husband and I found him to be incredibly honest and reliable. We will only use Raffi from now on, having had not very good plumbing experiences in the past.

He then arrived promptly at our scheduled time and got right to work. He did exactly what we needed, answered some peripheral questions, but did not oversell future services. And when I offered a tip, he refused and asked that I hire him for future jobs. Will do!

After a horrible scheduling nightmare with the previous plumber I used, it was a sigh of relief that he not only called in advance to confirm the appointment, but that he actually showed up within the window of time he promised. He was a very easy going guy and I felt he could be trusted since I have good instincts with people. He installed a reverse osmosis water filter under my kitchen sink that required drilling through the existing metal since no open hole existed. He took the extra time to ensure that the unit left as much space under the sink as possible. His labor charge was more than reasonable. There is not much more I can add other than he arrived on time, did a good job, and I'm satisfied. More importantly, I will call him again to further test him should I have additional plumbing issues which I'm sure I will :-).

We had one of those sewer problems that comes out of nowhere when you've got 50 year old clay pipes that have started to fall apart. Rafi came by and tried to unclog the pipe, but it was too badly blocked with roots and needed to be dug up and replaced. Rafi was able to accommodate us immediately - he quoted us very reasonably and arrived promptly the next morning to undertake the job. As is common with jobs involving things buried under ground once he started digging the scope of the work changed - there was alot more to deal with than either of us had anticipated - but Rafi stuck to his original quote, and in fact took care of more work (cutting and replacing part of our driveway..) without charging us more.

He and his guys did a great job, and kept me updated on the progress throughout the job by texting me pictures. Once the work was done they repaired the front yard and took away all the debris - he even followed up with a call the next day to make sure that we were happy.

Rafi is honest, conscientious and honorable - you won't regret hiring him.

We moved into a new condo and wanted to make sure all the plumbing was taken care of (based on the inspection report). So, we called a few people from Yelp, got different estimates and ended up going with Raffi. He was awesome! He called back right away, was on time to both the estimate as well as the actual work day, explained everything thoroughly, cleaned after himself and was fast! We were very happy with the job and felt that his prices were very competitive. Later on, we needed a second opinion on our shower and he came over, looked at it and didn't charge a thing! Definitely an honest plumber that gives great customer service! Will definitely recommend him and use him again.

I needed to replace a whole bunch of lower grade water shut off valves around the house (6 valves total). It was finally time when the water valves started to leak when I tried shutting it off to upgrade a kitchen faucet. This was definitely not a job I wanted to do so we looked into a professional.

Seeing that he had great reviews on yelp, I called Rafi to inform him on my plumbing problems. Over the phone he offered to give me some free advice to save me some money and fix the problem myself. Unforutnately, the advice couldn't be applied to my sitatuion due to the type of valve we currently have. Luckily for me, Rafi quoted me an excellent price, so I scheduled and appointment with him for a 9AM job. He showed up exactly at 9AM. This guy is punctual!

He replaced all the valve in my house within an hour. Unfortunately, he only planned to be at my place for an hour due to other appointments he needed to be at that day. If he had a little more time, I would've given him more business as I needed to have him check out a leaky shower faucet and perhaps have him install my new kitchen faucet.

All in all, Rafi knew what he was doing as a well seasoned plumber. He's punctual and professional. His experience made it easy for him to replace all 6 valves in time frame he said he was going to do it for.

I had a toilet valve break in the middle of a house party at 11pm! I called around and got a lot of unwilling plumbers, but Raffi at Cal Green Plumbing was available and happy to come. He showed up in about 30 minutes and fixed it in probably less time than that. Price was quite reasonable for a late night house call! I'll definitely be calling Cal Green again.

Very highly recommended. I had to replace my main sewer line which was overgrown with roots after 65 years. I called for quotes from a few plumbers and Raffi's was the most reasonable. Some of the other plumbers said that the price was too good and he'd probably try and add on extras and raise the price during the job, but that was absolutely not the case. Raffi's crew used the ""trenchless/pipe bursting"" method so the whole yard did not have to be dug up. They completed the job, cleaned up and he ran a camera down the pipe, and made me a dvd so I could get a rebate from the city of Burbank. While having to replace your main line is not a pleasent thought, Raffi and his crew made it easy to deal with. He was on time, compleated the job in less time than I thought, and his word on his price was his bond. It's always a pleasure to work with a tradesman who knows his stuff and is honest. The work passed city inspection with no problem. He also guaranteed the new line for as long as I own my house. Raffi also suggested some solutions to other plumbing issues I was having, but didn't try and push anything on me. Raffi's a good guy, and I would definitely hire him for any large or small job, and will recommend him to my friends.

I needed my sewer inspected with a camera and looked on Yelp for good reivews and came across CA Green Plumbing. I called the next day, spoke to Raffi and he came out the same day...RIGHT ON TIME. He offered a great price for the camera and had EXCELLENT service. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Highly recommend.
