Based on all the good reviews, I gave them a call. John answered the phone. He said he would see who was available to make a service call and call me back. He called me back and said everyone was busy and he would head over to me after he finished his current service call. He kept me informed of his ETA, which I really appreciate. He was very pleasant and fixed my clogged kitchen sink quickly. I think the rate was reasonable. I would definitely use them again.

I had a quote from a couple other plumbing services. Went with Oliver Calibet because of the great reviews here and his best price quote.

He was excellent. He found the cracked sewer pipe, discovered further damage and addressed that too. He showed me the issues as he found them so that I was informed of his process of discoverying and then resolving the issues.

He cleaned up. He even gave me some advice on another faucet plumbing problem.

He finished earlier than he expected, but that is only because everything worked out well and he took care of unexpected issues effectively.

Per hour one would say I overpaid. But he did the job efficiently and saved me time too.

And like others have suggested, Oliver is a down-to-earth guy. No flashy vehicles, no fast talking, no ridiculous prices.

He doesn't give up until the problem is solved, yet he doesn't go too far and risk damaging what he's trying to fix.

I own a property in Santa Monica and recently I received a call from my tenant alerting me of a problem with the plumbing. Since this is a townhouse the problem is frequently caused by our neighbors, and usually both units are affected as was the case once again.
After receiving an estimate of $450 PER UNIT and a huge list of necessary things that needed to be done from another company, I called Oliver.
45 minutes and $140 dollars later the problem was fixed!
The other plumbing company ""The Drain Surgeons"" figured us for a bunch of idiots and were planning to rip us off.
Olivers service is HONEST, PROFESSIONAL, and always THOROUGH! Don't even bother calling anyone else! Oliver went straight to the problem and got it done, in the process he saved us $760. THANKS OLIVER!!

Oliver is not a man, but a God of plumbing. Our wedding blocked up our friends' sink, and after a week of calling various services trying to get a quote without success I found this review. I called him at 3:15pm and at 3:45 he called me to say he had already finished the job for the exact price quoted. Simply amazing.

I highly recommend Calibet Plumbing. Oliver Calibet does great work, and is knowledgeable and fair. He frequently will try to help you by troubleshooting over the phone to save you some money. I have used him for gas lines, earthquake valves, sprinklers, & inside plumbing for sinks and toilets. If you have an emergency- he's there to fix it. He consistently does a terrific job. His prices are great- I have never felt gouged or ripped off by him. He's licensed, professional and you cannot do any better. Great company.

I called Oliver at Calibet Plumbing for a major re-do of my pipes for my shower. My home was built in the 40's and they just don't make anymore the same configuration that was needed for the shower/bath fixture. Oliver was persistent until he found one that would work, and then he had to reconfigure the pipes coming into the new fixture. It was not an easy job at all and I was grateful that he would take it on in spite of all the complications he faced. He did an amazing job and had just a great attitude in the face of, to me, an impossible situation. I now have a wonderful new fixture that does not leak and I now have a fabulous new plumber! I would highly recommend Calibet Plumbing and am going to do so to everyone I know.
