Alexis Parra from Caleb Service arrived two hours late. I asked him if he's ever mounted a large flat screen TV before and he said that he does that all the time. Since my TV is 85"""" diagonal and weighs 123 lbs., I told Alexis that I would help him. Sure enough, I was his assistant and had to correct him a few times when he was clearly making serious mistakes. Finally, he told me that he would not be able to mount my TV on the studs and would have to do it on the drywall instead. I pointed out to him the part of the instructions where it clearly states to *NOT* mount the TV on the drywall. He told me not to worry about it. I was hesitant but hoping he knew some tricks of the trade. That was not the case. As soon as I helped him put the TV on the bracket, I knew something was wrong. He told me to let go of the TV but I refused since it did not feel safe. Two seconds later, the TV almost came crashing down to the floor. Thankfully he was able to help me put it down gently. I told him it's because the mount is not on the studs. He told me that was not the case and he had to make an """"adjustment."""" Second try and the TV not only almost fell on the floor again but this time the mount completely ripped off the wall (see picture). That's when Alexis said it was running late and that I should pay him at least half and he would come back the next day to finish the job. I politely asked him never to come back. He demanded payment. I pointed out that not only did he not complete the job, but he actually damaged my wall. He insisted that I had to give him some money. I firmly told him to leave. He kept trying to pressure me into giving him money. I did not feel safe with Alexis in my home so I told him to come back the next day and that once he completes the project and fixes my wall, I would pay him the agreed upon amount at that time. He left, I locked the door, told the guard gates to never let him in again, and texted him to never come to my home again. DO NOT HIRE ALEXIS PARRA!

Alex and his team did a wonderful job on our home. We needed to make a new bedroom, remove rugs, add flooring, new light, expanded our master bedroom with wall removal, added new walk in closets, and more. Alex can do it all with quality!! I ruined the wall with sticky hooks and created request in Yelp to fix it. Alexis responded the first and while other contractors were sending me hundreds of questions, he just came and fixed everything the same day when I submitted request. Very fast and efficient. Thank you!

Ever heard of the saying """"Jack of All Trades....."""" well Alexis is a Jack of All Trades but he has mastered them all. I needed a dishwasher and garbage disposal retrofitted into my existing kitchen. This would be no easy task as provisions for a dishwasher weren't present. Alexis had to remove the existing cabinet, run new electrical and run new plumbing. This was a huge project and he was the only handyman to respond via Yelp. Alexis arrived promptly the day of install and began to work. He is well versed in electrical, and plumbing knowledge. Any question asked, he thoroughly responded to. I highly recommend Alexis as a handyman. Will definitely be doing more business with him in the future.

Very friendly and responsive but unprepared and lacks experience. A quick fix turned into 8 hours. Again super nice guy but had to go to get supplies three times. The job was finished but looks like something I could have done. Definitely not worth the cost and I have to add protection to the pipe because of the new mod he did. Again super nice guy but very amateur work. Ill let the pictures of the before and after and then after .

Alexis Parra came to my house to install a kitchen sink, paint a wall and install some skirting board to replace some that was water damaged. I was very impressed by all the work. The painting and wall board look amazing. The sink got complicated because the sink I bought was deeper than the previous one and so the pipes no longer fitted. Without charging me extra, Alexis spent considerable time buying and replacing the pipes. The finished sink looks great. Several guests have already commented on how professional the work looks. I would definitely recommend him.

Alexis came out to inspect the bathtub and as soon as learned I'll need a written estimate he ran off and vanished into thin air. Strange and rather not reputable business practice. Word of advice: if you don't want to do the job just tell me and don't hide or waste my time.
