George arrived as expected and quickly determined that the water spot on my kitchen ceiling was not from the second floor shower above the kitchen, but from multiple pin hole leaks in a copper pipe above the ceiling. George replaced the section of pipe with the leaks and my problem was solved (of course I have to get the ceiling patched and painted...George doesn't do that). I highly recommend George Calabrese.

Ben Anderson, of Calabrese Plumbing, arrived promptly, determined the problem quickly which turned out to be a bit more difficult due to some historic ""amateur"" plumbing; Ben went the extra mile, explained what needed to be done and patiently worked on the problem until it was corrected. While visiting my daughter and family in Fairfax, we had some bathtub leakage and also some water-pressure issues. We had contacted George, who's very responsive via email. He showed up as promised (to the minute), quickly identifying the problem, and took care of it. He also explored our pressure issues and took time to explain why and what options we could figure on if we wanted to increase that pressure. George charged far less than we had expected or, certainly, than he could have charged. So: professional, honest, reliable, knowledgeable -- whatever our future plumbing needs, there's no doubt we'll be calling Calabrese Plumbing.

I cannot recommend Calabrese Plumbing too highly: if you have to have a plumbing problem, at least you know who to call! Their response time is excellent, work is done expeditiously and professionally. George answered the phone himself, Ben did the work on our small but important (pressure release valve) problem, George called afterward to make sure that we were happy with their work. Which we definitely were.

I usually hate reading the reviews that start with ""i didn't use him but....""
yet, here I am writing that exact review!

When we woke up Sunday morning to about 50 gallons of water in our basement do to the sudden failure of our 23 year old water heater we didn't know who to call. We tried some of those big name chain companies and quickly new that was the wrong idea. So we checked consumers checkbook and found great ratings and reviews for Calabrese plumbing and gave Mr. Calabrese a call. First things first he answered! which we found was a rarity on Sunday mornings. He was booked till Wed but facetimed with us to be sure we had stopped the leaking for the moment and then gave us the name of a plumber he highly recommended who he thought could get out to us sooner. He wasn't interested in just making money from a job- he actually wanted to help fix the problem even if it meant giving our business to someone else! So I can't speak about his work only his honesty, helpfulness and integrity! If we ever need a plumber again we will definitely call him again! Also, the plumber he reccomended seems equally as helpful and honest-

George Calabrese was outstanding! He came faster than any others could promise, on New Years Eve even though it wasn't an emergency. He only uses the highest quality valves. He insisted on wearing shoe covers even though I invited him not to. He charged significantly less than other plumbers were quoting me. Most important, he did good work. He even stayed for a few minutes longer at no charge and coached me through some other plumbing repairs that I wanted to do myself. An all-around nice guy. Would definitely recommend to others.
