Travis is great. Very trustworthy, reliable, and quality. He's not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. He came out on short notice, was informative with his diagnosis, but not like some, that like to talk on your dollar. Travis was running up and down stairs the whole time he was at my home, as he had no assistant. He can be difficult to get hold of, but that's because he's super busy, because he's super good!
It's very rare to find quality and trustworthy tradesman these days, but I have no hesitation in recommending Travis In fact, I am considering him for my next bathroom remodel.

Travis helped us fix our main water shut today. He has done a marvelous job in replacing those old valves, and fix our water leak. He was very patient and explained everything he did about the replacement. With a few hours hard work, Travis finally puts the main water shut in a perfect condition! We really appreciate his help!

If you are looking for plumber, I would strongly recommend Travis. You won't be disappointed.

I've had bad luck working with different plumbers in the past based on recommendations. Poor workmanship and customer service. This time I decided to review Yelp reviews of plumbers in the Fremont/Union City area. The only one that stood out with glowing reviews consistently was Travis and team from Cal-Tech Plumbing. In fact there was nothing less than 5 stars. I called Cal-Tech this morning at 8:00AM and within an hour Travis called me back. I sent him pictures of what the issue was with my contact information and in less than 10 minutes I had a quote. The quote was very fair for the work he need to do to resolve the issue. He was able to get the parts he needed to fix my issue on the same day. As other reviews mentioned Travis is very detailed oriented and does a great job of explaining everything he needs to do to resolve your problem. I worked with Travis over the phone and my wife worked with him directly at home and we both found him to be pleasant to work with, responsive, very knowledgeable when it comes to plumbing and repairs, provides great quality and reasonable quotes. I highly recommend Travis from Cal-Tech Plumbing to anybody who needs plumbing work done. He will be my go to guy for any plumbing work or home repairs. He is AWESOME!!

Travis has done a marvelous job for our new house! He helped rescued our Kitchen and Bath from the screw-ups of our former contractors. Travis is very detail-oriented, and explained everything very thoroughly, as I appreciate his patience with us as we do not have much knowledge when it comes to home renovations/remodeling. Travis also holds his crews accountable for the things that they missed, from missed clean-ups to turning off lights/fan, and he has apologized many times with such sincerity. Travis is a man of his words and the works that he and his crew have done speak volume! My wife and I couldn't be any happier to have found Travis. We are extremely thankful and grateful to have such godsend person step in to help us when we have experienced disappointments one after another from multiple contractors.

Travis Robinson and his crew, Alan and Martin, are superb. They have on two separate contracts cleaned up our water plumbing, installed a new hot water recirculation system and expansion tank, and fully replaced all lines and upgraded capacity for our gas system. They have the latest materials and certifications. They are diligent, honest, super hard working and take pride in their work, rare things these days. They are also fully commercial job capable. I recommend them highly!!

on a rental house there were some plumbing issues that needed attention. In an extreamly timely manner Travis reviewed the report, gave me a very reasonable estimate and repaired all the problems. I had a somewhat non-typical plumbing job: backflow prevention installation for a new water meter in Hayward city. I have nothing but best to say about working with Travis. Travis was very responsive, updating me on each step, enthusiastic to double check with the city; work has been completed in no time and no stress.

Starting from the estimate, the approach is very professional; payments after full completion of the work, including city test passing. I can't claim for sure about the pricing level as I only compared it to one other bid (of the same amount but way sloppier approach).. since the pricing is high in bay area in general, seemed reasonable; at the minimum I gained confidence that I won't be paying for any costly oversights in the future.
