Good honest mobile home contractors are hard to find. Call Cal Star 1-855-370-3900. They helped fix the last contractors incompetent work and treated my mom with respect. I wish with all of my heart I had found Cal Star sooner because she would not have been so over charged by the last guy. It's so sad. The good thing is my mom has Cal Star. I'm happy for my mom. Thank you Cal Star!

Highly recommend this company for all home improvement needs! We have used Cal Star for a large remodel as well as some smaller items we wanted replaced, like toilets and ceiling fans. They do really great work, they are considerate, professional, competitively priced, straight forward and trustworthy (which speaks volumes in this industry).

Justin came out and bid to level our home. He also mentioned we need earthquake straps. Accepted the option and they did great work. Came out on time and the crew was clean and finished as promised. I would hire them again without questions.

Jake came out to us for a quote and we were extremely happy with the price! Cal Star blew three other companies pricing out of the water. He was friendly and completely considerate of our budget. He was happy to quote for multiple repairs and we decided to take care of the items that were in need of immediate attention.

It was only a week From quote,contract to completed work. The men who did the work were on time, extremely polite and worked very hard in 102* weather. (Poor Guys). They worked hard until the job was done and I am extremely happy with the result.

I will be recommending CAL star to all of my neighbors.

We we're frustrated with the construction guys we had hired and had asked Cal Star to come out for an estimate. Porsche and Jake were GREAT! Jake came out and was through and gave us a great price for the work we needed done. Long story short we ended up needing to cancel with Cal Star and kept the contracts we had with the other company. I apologized to Jake and he stated it wasn't a problem.

A few moments later the owner Justin texted me offering assistance if we needed and I opted not to reply. He then 24 hours later called me and told me he drove by my house and seemed as though he wanted to bash the other company. If he was calling for my own protection or as an advisory it was completely unwarranted and in my opinion unprofessional. He even, in my opinion, insulted me by stating I should have done additional research on the company I hired. Not that I need prove anything but I did.

I truly wanted to hire Cal Star for other work we wanted completed on the home but after the conversation with Justin, I am really turned off.

I thought I was satisfied, until the PVC pipe you installed began leaking and I saw the pictures of the debris under my home that you figured I would NEVER see. The ""complete releveling"" you charged me for was not complete at all. I was quoted by multiple contractors the same issue of needing an additional 12 piers and more money. My home is still in need of leveling. You couldn't even adjust the water heater temperature on the over priced water heater. It was on the highest setting and scolding hot water was being disbursed. I am completely dissatisfied. I feel that I have been taken advantage of and charged for a shoddy job. I have only heard of horror stories with contractors, but never thought I would be living one. If you work hard on satisfying your customers, you would have done the job with integrity. I can only wish you would have performed the level of work that I see in pictures from other customers, but that did not happen here. I now have to pay to have the shoddy work redone. I live in a secured gated community and guests enter by invitation only. You have not been invited, but yet lie to the front gate staff and come to bang on my door and holler for my neighbors to hear. Who I might add, will never hire you. You scared them off. You have now come to my home twice that I know of, without an invite. I am not avoiding you, I gave you authorization to speak with my daughter, who saw right through you when you told her that ""people have to have money to live in a place like this."" You received $5,000 more than your work warranted. Please, stop harassing me.

After seeing some negative reviews I felt it necessary to share my experience working with Cal Star. My wife and I were contemplating a remodel for our home and after meeting with numerous contractors we decided to go with Cal Star because we felt their prices were fair and their level of knowledge was unparalleled. Our original plan was just to do tile and remove a few walls but as the project progressed and we saw the quality of work we decided to expand the project to include our kitchen and two bathrooms. The Cal Star staff was extremely helpful throughout the stressful project and often times Justin was there to put our minds at ease. His installers were professional, friendly and clean and even helped our son lay a few tiles (see photo). We highly recommend the services of Cal Star!

Cal Star keeps calling me for more work. OMG!!!! After the rottin work they did
and the mess they left me with they have the guts to call me over and over...NEVER ,NEVER, and if kepps up I will sue for harrassement.. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CO....

Overpriced. Quotes more work than needs to be done. The main complaint I have is with I think his wife? or whoever is answering the phone is the rudest person ever. Justin if you are reading this, I must say, after all your hard work and effort to build your company, it's a shame that the woman in your office treats your customers like crap. I will never use your service again because of her (AND I felt ripped off after the job was done) when I realized I didn't have to pay as much as I did. I RARELY, write a review, however, I hope you teach your office folk to be nice to your customers who pay a buttload of money for your service. If you want one time customers, ok, do nothing. But if you ever expect repeat customers, get someone else to answer your phones. It's like she doesn't understand what CUSTOMERS are. Have you even noticed your return customer ratio? Now you know why.
