They came out to fix our toilet leak and did nothing but said that the issue had to do with the chain being too long. They did not bother to wait 10 mins to see the water go down. So I paid them my co-pay from first American for nothing. It's so hard to schedule anything with these people. Really unsatisfied with their level of service.

I could simply say ""ditto"" to all the other poor reviews. Assigned Cal Home by First American Home Warranty and I even told FAHW they should dump this contractor. They never called. I had to call them to setup an appointment thru the warranty. (They are supposed to call me). I called to set up an appt time which they gave to me over the phone. I waited at home for their 4 hour window, they never called or showed. When i tried to call, i only get their message machine (even tho i called during business hours). They never returned my call even with several messages left. This is not the first time i had the exact same results when they were assigned to me.
Bottom line... this many reviews with the same issues = DO NOT USE!! If they are assigned by your warranty company, make them change the assigned plumbing company.
Secondly, First American home warranty needs to re-evaluate their vendor list and/or try to actually experience this as an end user. They will dump them in no time. Its enough to make me not renew my warranty with them.

It is entirely possible that these people are competent in their trades, but their customer service and communication is horrible. This plumber was assigned to us through First American, and they gave us a 4 hour window (2 to 6) for a garbage disposal replacement, so I stayed home for what should have been an easy job. At 4:06 I called to check on their ETA. The receptionist told me she would check with the plumber and get back to me. I never heard back. The next day I called and the receptionist told me they had stopped by at around 2, rang the doorbell and left. It's possible I was out back at that exact moment and didn't hear the door, but I was never out of the house for more than a couple of minutes. I told the receptionist that shouldn't have been an issue, because they have our phone number, to which she replied that he had no reception. A.) Bullcrap - we are in an area where everyone with a major carrier has good reception B.) If he actually had bad reception (he didn't), he could have driven a block and called from there. C.) If he'd been there at 2, why didn't I get a follow-up call to let me know that I didn't need to keep waiting? If you enjoy taking four hour breaks from work and rolling the dice with a plumber who won't make a real, good faith effort to contact you when they come by, these people are for you. Otherwise, avoid them.

Bunch of incompetent plumbers who have no sense of responsibility. Had to deal with them due to American Homeshield sending them over to fix a clogged shower drain. They came in promptly, but the guy who came in tried to fix it for a few minutes and gave up saying there is something huge stuck inside the drain. He said someother company would come use a camera and take out the pipes. And he never gave his report or bothered to american home shield who were assuming he fixed it.

The next day a plumber from our community fixed it in few minutes.

Hope you got your money from American Homeshield, for a job well done and are proud of yourself.

This company is so messed up I don't even know how they are business they don't show up for there appointments and when u call if u get through to someone they say he completed the job or no one was home. Do not higher them for anything and can first American home warranty they are a joke to keep a company like this

These guys are a joke. Don't even bother.
I had the First American Home Warranty through which I got them. I had to pay $75 for the service call, but neither they identified the real problem nor fixed it. They made the water regulator worse and because they would have to replace they wrote a fake report as ""loose because of excessive force"" and denied replacement claims. I got a neighborhood plumber to replace it. My warranty premium and service fee all wasted. This company should not be allowed to do business.

We left numerous messages and no one called. The problem I see here is the First American - they are very diligent when it comes to us paying the premium but not when it comes to following up with their customers. That is where the problem is.

This is the worst plumbing company ever, the lady whoever answers the call is rude and not very accomodating! The plumbing service is not far from worse too, went and did the plumbing service Monday came Saturday water backed up again, he even said that i will not expect any problems anytime soon. To the fact that we were not even living in the house yet!
