My initial review was moved, so it is being resubmitted. I was referred to Jesus Olvera, the owner of Cal Group Home Services, by the owner of Future Water Restoration. I was told, he did good work, but this turned out not to be the case. He did not return money for part of the work that was never started, although he agreed to do so through voice mail and text, which I still have. Jesus Olvera is not a trust worthy individual, and his work made it apparent, he's not a good contractor either. -None of the base boards/quarter rounds were cut or lined up correctly -Drywall cracked (two wks. after it was done) and cardboard was used around pipes -Quarter rounds not level with flooring, gaps wide enough to fit a quarter  through -Paint bubbles left on ceiling. It was supposed to be corrected, but wasn't -Paid for items that were not finished-Refusal to return money for work never started -Installed two pipes connecting the sink to a new vanity backwards, causing a  leak inside of the cabinet. Jesus Olvera did pay to have his mistake corrected by a professional plumber. Updated -Would not provide me with receipts I requested numerous times

Cal group has provided their services for my home on several occasions. They have been highly professional, reasonably priced, and prompt with communication. They did an extensive basement renovation for me and some additional drywall repairs. Jesus is the contractor who is very professional and friendly. He is prompt to return calls, patient with project changes, and has flexible hours. He is fluent in English and Spanish. I have other projects that I will be asking him to work on in the near future. Hopefully he won't get too busy as the word gets out! I highly recommend this company for all of your project needs no matter what the size.
