Called and asked for estimate for clearing yard drains. Was told Jody would be at house between 7-7:30 next day and if we agree on price he will do the work on the spot. Next day arrives and they call and say he will be late. He shows up at 8 and looks at the work and says $175 an hour and no idea how long it will take him. I say lets work 1.5 hours and see how far we get (I think the job would have taken less than an hour as I used to do the same work when I was younger, with older equipment). He agrees and says he has to go get his equipment. We wait for 4 hours and Jody never returns. We call their office and Lee's cell phone with no answer multiple times. We wait several more hours and call again, and no answer, no Jody. No notice to us of their decision to not take the work. A very unprofessional experience with this company. We waited all day for them to return. I used Google and Yelp to pick this company and we can not agree with all the positive comments posted. We look forward to hearing the owner's response to this post

Or house flooded in August. Service technician David V. came 01/25/2017 to install our dishwasher, kitchen sink faucet, and garbage disposal, and to run a water line for the refrigerator/ice maker.
When he found that the faucet fixture was leaking around the valve, he told my wife that she would have to ""throw away"" an expensive Kohler faucet with a lifetime warranty because of the leaky valve. (I'm no plumber, but I've replaced valves on cheaper faucets myself in the past; surely a professional plumber should know that this can be done).
The worst thing, though, was his installation of our under-mount dishwasher. My wife had to call him back after he left the first time because she noticed that she could stand to one side in front of the dishwasher and see the insulation on that side. So he had a second chance to either install the dishwasher properly (directions came with it) or admit that he couldn't do so. What he did next was cut the mounting straps, bend them upwards, and screw them to the front of the cabinet trim wood supporting the countertop. In addition to defacing the trim strip, the top of the dishwasher now stuck out further than the bottom (the dishwasher is tilted forward). Even the do-it-yourself videos advise that a dishwasher ""must be perfectly level, or very slightly tilted backwards. Never tilt a dishwasher forward"".
We don't ever want Mr. David (or anyone from Cajun Maintenance) back in our home and we don't want any money back - we just don't want anyone else to experience what we did.
Sadly, he was personally recommended by our general contractor, with whose services we have so far been satisfied - mistakes and oversights happen, but so far he has addressed most of these and will, hopefully, continue to do so.

Used these guys for the first time. They showed up on time and so far the repair is holding up well. I was impressed by the professionalism and manners shown by the two plumbers. They took their shoes off after stepping in the grass to turn off the water, so not to tack in dirt when re-entering our house and addressed my wife and I as Sir & Ma'am. We will use this company again! Price was also fair too!

Mr David did all of our plumbing after our house flooded. He was very thorough, professional and friendly. He did an excellent job on our house at a reasonable price, was on time and explained any item not on the original bid before adding it, so there were no surprises.
I would highly recommend his services.

Overall, I had a very disappointing experience with Cajun Maintenance. I called them to either repair or replace my water heater. They replaced the thermostat and heating coil (almost $400). The hot water went out again two days later. This time, I was told the water heater needs to be replaced- and that I will not be reimbursed for any of the labor costs from the repairs two days ago. This is unethical for a company who claims to care about their customers and advertises ""Fixed right the first time"" on their website. The person I spoke with on the phone was clearly concerned about making as much money as possible, by whatever means necessary, and with no regard to the customer. The invoice doesn't even break down the cost of parts and labor. They also told me an estimate to replace the water heater would be emailed in ""about an hour"". It's been two days, and I have yet to receive this estimate.
