Recommended Customer Reviews

I work for a property management company with over 300 short/long term properties. We are often in need of a plumber. Lobo Tech is our preferred plumbing company due to their commitment to great customer service, quick response time, integrity and work ethic. Being the liaison for our vendors and our clients, it is very important that I have a thorough understanding of the repairs conducted. With Lobo Tech, there are never any surprises at the time of billing. They are great at getting to the root of an issue, executing it in a timely manner all the while keeping you abreast along the way.
I highly recommend Lobo Tech and use them at my own home when I have plumbing issues.

We installed a new boiler with Lobo Tech in September of 2019. Gabe installed the boiler and we had issues from day one. When we called Gabe to fix the problem after paying close to $5,000 he would not answer our calls. Later the owner of Lobo Tech Robert came to our home 3 different times and each time he would just guess what was wrong with the problem and do nothing to resolve the issue. Every time the heat turned off in 3 zones in our home there was a loud banging sound. It was so loud it would wake us up all night. We reported all issues to Robert but he charged us $200 more and replaced something that DID NOT fix the initial problem. Later he said he may need to replace the zone valves for another $600. Eventually we had to hire 2 plumbers to fix the problem and correct several items on the installation of our boiler, the cost was an additional $1800. We reported this to the owner at Lobo Tech but he simply did not care. Look around at reviews and pick your plumber carefully. Lobo Tech does NOT care about their customers and provide terrible service. Save yourself the headache and money and go elsewhere for your plumbing needs.

Lobo Tech recently installed a combo boiler unit and after 30 days an advanced scheduled appt. was set up to have warranty items and a fully functioning system, Lobo Tech stood me up in excess of three times on three separate days and would not complete the call back. Robert and his team were non-responsive and evasive when pressed for a schedue.
We paid in full almost $7,000 with them and contacted another local mechanical contractor who immediately brought the system up and fully functioning. As a result, I cannot recommend Lobo Tech but was delighted to have found another local dependable contractor to finish their job.

I initially called on Robert to help with a swamp cooler issue and remained in touch. Unfortunately, I did not know Lobo Tech did high efficiency units and I selected another vendor for the job.
Using the other vendor turned out to be a catastrophe as the unit was not installed properly and kept crashing.
I've stayed connected to Lobo Tech and they have been very responsive for all of my heating and air conditioning needs.

A quote for $85 quickly doubled to $165 they brought two men to do a one man job. They glued and in less than 30 minutes and even charged us for their ten minute drive. They tried to convince us they needed to come back again for an inspection of their own work for another $165 would recommend finding another plumber who can keep their word. I felt like they took advantage of me, and didn't like that they wanted to take advantage twice.

Totally unreliable. My landlord has arranged appointments with them TWICE this past week and were - 1. (12/29/17) Rescheduled to the next week just prior to the appt ( at which time they promised (ironically) to not fail us next time - Monday, 1/1/18) but then 2. Totally blew off the appointment by not showing up and then no one answered when called.
This means that my landlord was there waiting and the tenants were also available for Lobo Tech to rudely blow the whole thing off. Welcome to Santa Fe. This is the 3rd company in a row that has proven to be incompetent in keeping appointments - I just wanted an estimate to replace some piping and give some locals some business. Maybe Albuquerque has someone willing to take new business and has ethics?
For Rob, or whoever @ Lobo Tech - this review is in response to the missed appointments made with Josh this past week. Thanks for nothing but wasted hours.

We choose Lobo Tech to install a new mini split system, specifically a Daikin compressor and 2 head units of 18,000 and 7,000 BTUs for our living room and office. Gabe was knowledgeable, responsive and hard working. Although the coordination with the electrical team wasn't perfect, I was very impressed that the entire project was professionally installed and completed 48 hours after quoting and 36 hours after start! Clearly, the Lobo Tech team knows their stuff and is very responsive!

These guys put in a pricey combo unit (furnace plus water heater) into our house and did an excellent job. Even for months after, they would drop everything when our new unit ever had an ERROR message. Now it's working great and I have no regrets using this professional, friendly, and dedicated business. Their copper plumbing work is beautiful!

Sol is the Plumber our Landlord uses and he fixes other things as well. I think the person who gave him a bad review should talk to him about it. I would hope he would make it right. I agree, you should know it's a two hour minimum. He has come and fixed things, some get fixed correctly, a few not, I am not paying him so it's not my issue. However, he is very, very friendly and seems like a good person.

He replaced the thermocouple of my house in Santa Fe to the tune of twice what other Santa Fe plumbers charge. Be warned that he doesn't tell you that he has a two hour minimum - at $100 per - for every job - despite the ease of the job itself. He also charges $40 for a $10 part. Highway robbery, and he's rude to boot.
