Patrick was referred to me by Ace Hardware on Devon and Central. He came to replace the balancer and mixing valve of a 22 year old American Standard bathtub faucet. He arrived from a preceding job 1/2 hour early and immediately went to work. Met the challenges of a corroded faucet dead on, obtained genuine Am. Standard replacement parts and did a great job. Also switched out the diverter spout (was not part of the original request). Nice to have water mixture restored (faucet lost its mid-range, running only hot or cold). Reasonable rates. Highly recommend.

Our hot water heater died. I called Patrick and he personally responded within the hour. He told me exactly what to purchase from Home Depot and quoted me a price to install. It was very fair and reasonable. His transparency was heartwarming as others I spoke to quoted an ""installed price"". I much prefer Patrick's transparent method; knowing the actual quality/cost of the unit and install. I ordered the heater online that night, he picked it up the following day, we carried it down, and he installed it himself. There were a few hiccups after he left which required that I call him. However, he returned 20 minutes later even though it was after 9:30 PM! He was quick to respond and assured me that if there were problems with the install, etc. the cost of the install would not have increased. Lastly, he also checked all my faucets/drains before leaving. Patrick is our plumbing ""go to"" and as such his number is saved on my cell phone.

Our kitchen sink would not drain. We'd had a similar problem twice before and called a well-known company to unclog it. They charged an exorbitant fee both times. Now with the problem happening again there was no way we were going to use the same company. Cain's Plumbing and Drainage was #1 on the list of recommended plumbers. Not only is their rating deserved but the service we received from Patrick Cain and his son Connor was 5 star. It wasn't an easy fix and they worked diligently until they were certain the sink was in excellent working order. Their charge was by far one of the most reasonable and fair costs for a repair of this type. Cain's Plumbing is our go-to for any future repairs and we will surely be telling our friends and neighbors to make them their first (and only) choice for their plumbing needs.

Patrick is a nice enough guy, punctual and good communication pre-day of job. With that said, our toilet was poorly installed and there was zero attempt, other than a few texts, to try to remedy the situation. I don't mind paying for work to be done when it is done right. I don't take a two-star review on Yelp lightly...definitely can't recommend this company. Which is a bummer, because you're always happy to find a plumber who you'd call on when needed.

Called them 3 times with no response, when he finally did call back he said if I didn't like it I should find someone else. I did.
