We had a back up in plumbing system which involved our toilet clogging and overflowing into the bathtub in our only main floor bathroom. Now this might not have been such an emergency if I didn't have a broken leg and was completely unable to use any of the other bathrooms in our house. Caffi's came out about 2 hours after we called. It took them several hours of hard (and gross work) and they had to take the toilet completely out and then reinstall it. David was really conscientious and even though it seemed as though the smaller snake/snake machine (?) took out the clog, he went to the extra effort of getting a second larger machine to get all the way to the main line to make sure we wouldn't have to call again in the morning if he hadn't really gotten everything out of there. David and his team were courteous, polite, up front and honest about everything they were doing. They also took their time to really clean (sterilize) and dry everything from the bathroom to the front door. We were really impressed. It wasn't an inexpensive job but it was quality work.

My long-time plumber was retiring, so on the recommendation of neighbors, I called Caffi to get a quote on replacing two bathroom faucets, fix a running toilet, and add a water filtration system to the house. The plumber arrived on time and was pleasant. He assessed the faucet situation and the toilet but when we moved on to the water filtration system, we encountered a lot of issues--one being that he wanted to sell me a water softener instead of a filtration system and two, that he felt the need to tell me that most of the things that were still working in the boiler room should be replaced.

He charged me $79 for the estimate (which I was aware of up-front). I received only a partial estimate of the quested repairs-but it was so high I called another place and saved 40% on the quote.

Had a steady leaking faucet - handle wouldn't turn off the hot water. They called promptly in the morning. Robert arrived just when promised, and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. Also showed me how to do it in case I wanted to do the cartridge replacement myself next time.

Had a door frame widened, new door put in and tile floor/doorjamb fixed by Caffi recently. They did a great job overall. On-time arrival, good detail and finishing on the paint, plaster, and tile work, good job cleaning up at the end of the day.

My experiences with Caffi have been extremely positive. I had a problem with some of my water pipes freezing then bursting. This happened a couple times and was fixed by plumbers from companies other than Caffi. The last time I called Caffi and there plumber suggested I use pex pipe, a plastic hose similar to a garden hose and which expands rather than bursts when frozen. Since then I have had no burst pipes even though the pipes have twice frozen. Calling Caffi has saved me a lot of money through prevention of problems.

Tried to charge $800 for a problem I had another honest plumber fix for $300. Dishonest price-gougers trying to take advantage of people's ignorance over plumbing issues. Avoid at all costs.

Caffi was recommended to us by MONA (Moms of N Arlington). We had a kitchen sink pipe leak. Their plumber showed up on time and seemed friendly enough. He found a tear in the outbound pipe - had to go to Home Depot because he didn't have it in his truck - all told he was at my house just under 3 hrs (including his trip to get the part). Foolish me for being a trusting person - at the end I said let me go get a check because I know credit cards cost your company a lot - total was $739 - OMG - I was expecting $400-500 which I believe would have been a lot of money but outrageous. It's as if Caffi took the high end of what would be reasonable for a job like this and just added another 40% plus just because they could care less if I ever call them again - there are so many other suckers like me in this area that are good for a one time plucking - it's more profitable than building trust and a long-term relationship. I see there are not many positive reviews here of Caffi - unfortunately, most potential customers will not be as savvy as Caffi to google ""Caffi Contracting Services"" - instead of ""Caffi Plumbing"" - very clever nomenclature, Caffi - I have your number (not that you care- but then doing things right has its own rewards and you will get yours eventually).
