This is one of the least professional and least capable HVAC companies in the Alexandria (NoVA) area. We scheduled an HVAC tune up with another company who recommended we replace our unit. We called Caffi for a second opinion.

The tech arrived late, was in a rush, and said he did not have time to examine our unit or chat on the phone. He told me to call his main office. He said the refrigerant was low, and was very pushy to try to get us to approve adding refrigerant. We googled this and most sources recommend blindly adding refrigerant and instead trying to diagnose who it's low. The tech had no interest in discussing, and said he had to go.

We felt he was unprofessional, and we had to hire another company to finally get a correct diagnosis. We try to call Caffi many times but they did not answer the phone nor return our calls. We got an unhelpful and inaccurate email.

We won't be calling Caffi again, and we certainly don't recommend them.

They serviced me 11 days ago. Was supposed to have a call back about the shower part. never happened. They left the shower in pieces still in a zip lock.The guy came inside the shower cabin without disposable shoe cover. went in and out the house multiple times like that. In addition to $89 service call, they charged $200/hour to disamble the shower. I find it amazing that the invoice made it to my inbox but the estimate no where to be found. Also they find time to leave a voice mail about my review but not about the esimate. ????

Robert from Caffi Services is AWESOME! I dropped a kettlebell and caused a water main pipe to leak in my basement. He drove an hour away to get the part and fixed the pipe good as new the same day. We were so relieved to have the water back on so that we did not have to go somewhere else to live for a couple of days. I can't say enough about the excellent service! We will definitely Caffi Services again in the future for any plumbing needs.

Called Caffi yesterday evening for help w/a bad leak. They sent Brian M, experienced and skillful tech, who arrived first thing when they said they would -called ahead as well. Within 3m he pinpointed the source of the leak, captured video showing the little geyser coming out of it... the main problem became how to fix without tearing out my kitchen counter, cabinets, sink, and dishwasher as others wanted to do... He cut out a neat rectangle in the back cabinet wall facing the wall w/the pipes, exposed the problem section, detected the right replacement parts -and made the repair within the hour. After heavy testing all was dry. I was so happy w/the the work, w/Brian's and his associate's Jonathan's professionalism, skill, and clean up. I highly recommend. They genuinely saved the day w/their problem-solving, skill, and responsiveness.

We've been using Caffi for 23 years, and each time they deliver. Today we had them locate a refrigerator water line that was buried in a renovation. Sherlock Holmes type digging in ceilings (with minimal damage and using a camera!) and exploring along floors and walls, and they found it. And, the solution they offered to address our problem is perfect.

Very responsive. The technicians are very polite and professional. There is no up-selling. We had an issue with one of the repairs that was done and Caffi came back and fixed it. I highly recommend.

Service was good. Had a kitchen faucet replaced. Plumber worked about 30 minutes. Labor bill was $500! When we called to complain, we were told that was the going rate. Unbelievable! Faucet itself was worth about $150, but we were charged almost $200. If plumbers in Fairfax County charge this much for labor, something isn't right. When we called we were told we got a ""senior citizens'"" discount. Amazing! Cafe advertises in our church bulletin. That's why we used them, but............ Ray and Mary S.

Patrick and Mohica were unbelievable. So professional and brought a level of expertise that I was not expecting. They found the problem with our drainage issues and while it was a costly and rather complicated problem to fix, very old pipes at the end of their life that lead out under our home to the main water line, they did it. Very polite people. Very knowledgeable and were able to explain to us what the issues were in clear, layman terms.

I will only be calling Caffi in the future for plumbing issues.

Last week I had concerns that I might issues with a possible sewage back up in my home requiring a fairly expensive back flow prevention device. The Caffi folks found room on the schedule and came out the same day to put the camera down our sewer line to the street. The guys that came out were knowledgeable and willing to teach me how it all works and didn't mine letting me watch and learn. The result was that everything was fine and I didn't need to spend any more money. Now I have piece of mind in the future. Thank you Caffi Plumbing.

We've used Caffi multiple times since we moved into our house in Alexandria more than a decade ago, and they've always been great. Very responsive, high quality work, and always nice, helpful guys that come to the house. Definitely use.
