Requested a quote for installation of a gas tankless water heater with a water conditioning system. The young man was efficient, knowledgeable and an absolute sweetheart. Although, we did appreciate you trying to save us money by directing us as to what accessories would be needed and buying them cheaper than what you would probably charge...lol, wouldn't recommend doing that, but thanks for the confidence in trusting we could do it. It all worked out and I learned something new. Although the cost was more than had anticipated, like many things in life, you pay for quality. Thank you Tackett for getting my aunt back into hot water. We'll be looking you up for future projects and needs.

I called them on a Wednesday morning requesting that they come and look at what I thought was my septic tank that was backing up (I have just recently moved into town). After calling 3 times through the day to make sure they were going to come as they said they would at 8:30 AM, I finally get a call after 5 explaining that I do not have a septic tank in town that it would have to be a problem with the sewer line. He did apologize that the address was not caught by the office staff when I first called, and he did send someone with an auger to clear the line of tree roots. I was told it would be fine for a while but I should consider replacing the line because it went directly under a tree, at a cost of 2,500. Here it is a week and half later and it backed up AGAIN, this time I call a different plumber who came within an hour and spent another hour getting ALL of the roots. And they showed me that the line is NOT directly under the tree! AND he confirmed what I've been told (that Cactus said was a wives tail) that rock salt will kill the roots sparing me from having to do this again. Cactus charged $150 and did not do the job correctly, now I am out $90 for the 2nd plumber not to mention the time from work and all they can say is ""I'm sorry"".

Save yourself the trouble of having the job done twice and look elsewhere for your plumbing needs.

Ok, my septic tank was full and so much sludge it had to be clogged in the lateral lines. It cost me $637 to find it. Not only was it $75. an hour for labor but it was also $75. an hour while he drove back and forth. While being pumped we pretty much figured the lateral lines were clogged and he was going to check it out when done pumping. But he forgot. Now less than a month later it's overflowing again. Back to square one. Not happy.
