We had a sluggish kitchen sink that Todd took care of promptly and expertly. He was on time, cordial and efficient. He cleaned up the work area thoroughly. We're also planning to replace two toilets. Todd took measurements and checked in with the office to see if the model we were interested was available. We'll definitely use Cabrillo (and hopefully Todd) for installation.

Frank, Eric and Javier recently replaced our hot water heater. They were professional, friendly and cleaned up the area nicely afterwards. A month later we had a leak next to dishwasher under the sink. Called in the morning and that afternoon Robert came out to fix the problem by replacing the old garbage disposal and air valve. He too was professional, friendly and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. Also did the annual heating maintanence and helped me better understand the heating system in my house. I'd definitely recommend Cabrillo. They are expensive but feel timing, product and quality of service is worth it.

Our main sewer drain suddenly slowed dramatically on Sunday evening. Called Cabrillo, reached Sal, they showed up at 8:00am Monday morning. The job was ambiguous, in a 125-year-old Victorian, and required a lot of work and testing, but the tech (Todd B) was resourceful and determined, and he got the job accomplished. We've called on Cabrillo for many years, and have always appreciated their excellent and knowledgeable service. They are reasonable in price while observing very high standards of professionalism, being very easy to work with, and being considerate of customers' premises. Would highly recommend Cabrillo and Todd.

Our 20+ year old furnace started making a disturbing noise. I called a number of HVAC contractors and got no response. Called Cabrillo and they called me right away and scheduled an appointment to diagnose the problem. Frank and Matt came out and checked out the situation, followed up with a quote for the work and a repair time was scheduled when the necessary replacement parts were available. Cabrillo followed up with text and email appointment reminders. Frank and Matt came back and did the work in a fast, professional, respectful and friendly manner. They took the time to explain the repair, they always wore masks and were obviously knowledgeable about what they do. I would use them again for sure!

After the initial appointment (very easy to make) they gave us advance notice of their arrival time and showed up on time - so important and respectful! The work was done thoroughly, efficiently and with care.

Brian started the job but was called away for an emergency; Todd and Erick did bulk of installation and did it neatly and cleanly. They ensured the work was done to code, making sure everything was tidy and secure. The result was not only a safe installation but it also looked great.

I had a major plumbing job done at my large Edwardian home in Cole Valley, in which I had received varying estimates and plans from other companies but not the assurance that they knew what the problem was. Cabrillo was very professional, knowledgeable and communicable. It was easy to reach someone with my questions when the five day project was ongoing. Sal, at the Cabrillo dispatch center, was always there and knew the relevant issues, and Brian and Erik worked on the project on-site and took the time to explain everything to me. The only glitch was that the City of SF had come to inspect the Cabrillo work, which passed, but the City of SF then thought that they had also inspected our pipe from the curb to the sewer line under the street, which they hadn't. That took a few months to work out, and was nerve-wracking to wait as I had spent all of this money on our part of the pipes (the pipes from the house to the sewer line at the curb were clay and full of roots and broken pieces of clay and all had to be replaced with cast iron) and I was just hoping it the sewer would not back up due to the obstructed line that the City was responsible for during that waiting period for the City to fix their part. Finally, it all worked out! Although Cabrillo prices are often higher than other plumbing companies, for major jobs, I would not rely on anyone else: this was the second major job they have done on our house, and each time their work was outstanding and long-lasting!

The compressor on our air conditioner failed when the heat wave hit, so I called Cabrillo yesterday knowing that they, and every other A/C company would be swamped with calls and unlikely to be able to give me a quick appointment. They gave me date for 3 weeks from now, but promised to call me if they had a cancelation. Less than 24 hours later, they called to say a technician could be at my house within the hour. Frank was there within half an hour as promised. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fortunately had the right replacement part with him. He made the repair, cleaned up, replaced the filters that I hadn't done last year thanks to the virus, and stayed long enough to confirm that all was working as it should. He was terrific to work with in every way - professional, polite, thorough, knowledgeable. I've used Cabrillo before and they have always given 5 star service.
