Setting an appointment is easy with Cabrillo and the plumbers always get to my house on time. they are fast, neat and clean up any messes from the work. Every person that has worked with us has been polite and helpful with suggestions as to how to avoid future issues. We use them for our heating and water heater as well. they are tops in my book!

What I like about Cabrillo, besides the fact that all their techs have people skills in addition to technical skills, is that I get the feeling they are treated well by the employer. They are courteous and friendly with customers but you just feel like you've got team players who like working for this company. They are not the cheapest and they are not the most expensive. I think they charge what they need to in order to do a quality job with quality materials and compensate the great staff in a way that keeps them loyal to the company. That's my overall impression.

As far as specifics, in 2022 Cabrillo replaced my sewer line just before Christmas and made it happen in record time. This year they replaced my furnace. Their guys have a great balance of being professional and personable, including their cheerful response to the dogs, who, face it can be a little loud and obnoxious at times. So I already knew most if not all this year's crew and vice versa. Matt came out to see what was happening with the furnace, and called in Frank, a senior tech, when it was obvious that fixing the 30 yr old furnace was not the best choice (I would have replaced it last year but . . . sewer). Frank explained everything that needed to happen including the asbestos abatement. And when the asbestos folks found more than they expected, Frank advocated and got them to stay and finish the job, juggling their schedule, so they would not have to return. Erick was present while the asbestos people were working here, which was great and he also was the team leader on site once the asbestos was taken care of. Javier assisted Erick for three days, then Daniel the fourth day and it was great having a working furnace again, again, all professional and personable. Same with Matt who came back the following week to finish off the insulation on the extra duct work. And Gessa back in the office kept everything rolling with permits, etc.

I am now switching all my house maintenance to Cabrillo. They may be pricey, but their work is first rate. And they have good people working for them. I had others trying to fix my toilet and it kept malfunctioning. David came, he looked, gave me a couple of options (cheaper and more expensive) completed the job in less than an hour and it's done. Money well spent.

Cabrillo just rescued us from a cold Christmas by promptly and professionally responding to our call about a non-functioning furnace. Robert and Matt did a great job in fixing it. Robert, the lead technician, clearly and concisely explained what the problems were and what our options were in dealing with them. We had a complex project to remove all our existing gas-powered heating, washing, and water systems and replace them with all-electric ones. Rob Burkett and his team did a fantastic job coordinating with our electrical contractors, replacing the old ducting, installing the new hardware, and cleaning up after the job. We couldn't be happier. Our electrician said afterward, ""Good job hiring Cabrillo - they are the best."" I would venture to bet they cost a bit more than others - but you get what you pay for. They always showed up when they said they would, dealt with nightmarish street parking, and offered extremely helpful suggestions. With their ideas, we were able to slim down the space used by our appliances by more than half and relocate them so that we were able to turn our old mech room into an in-house laundry room. The value of the house increased by way more than we paid for the upgrade. Thanks team!

PG&E had come by to do routine maintenance on the gas meter and lo and behold, found that we had multiple gas leaks. They couldn't isolate them but turned off all of our gas - no heat and no hot water. I called Cabrillo immediately and they were able to send out Brian the next day. He was able to quickly test and isolate multiple leaks (old house). This has been a large project - from October 25 to November 22. Basically, all of the gas lines under our house had to be replaced as well as a line that goes to our garage and laundry room. Brian and Fernando were great - they were able to diagnose our issues, determine a two step plan, execute and simplify the lines under the house as well as come up with an ideal solution for the line to the garage/laundry room which saved me a lot of money. They are professional, work quality is excellent and they do what they say they are going to do. They are my plumbers of choice! Plus a shout out to the team in the office, Gessa, Candice and Sal - who always followed up with me on timing, scheduling and permits. All of you are appreciated!

Erick and Javier replaced approximately 20 ft of very clogged 3"" kitchen drain pipes after Brian diagonosed the issue the day before. The professionalism of the crew was exceptional as was their work. They were very respectful of our home and ensured that the area was kept clean while they were working and thoroughly cleaned up after they completed the project, which took a full day to complete.
