Todd Bauchi did an amazing job. Our toilet was super clogged. Todd started with the easiest (and cheapest) option. When that didn't work, he tried something more difficult. Always letting me know what the price would be. That didn't work, so he actually removed the toilet, got the clog out, and put the toilet back. Cleaned up all around the floor too. That's a good amount of work but he did all of that in the space of two hours. Competent, and he always explained what it involved. He was very friendly as well.

Highly recommended.

As usual I call Cabrillo Plumbing when I need a reliable response and a professional job.
I've been a customer for years and have been satisfied with every job.
Todd's job unclogging my toilet was fast and he also adjusted the water level for me.
Shout out to Todd!
If you want clean, professional plumbers you should call Cabrillo.

I regret writing this review, but it would be irresponsible if I did not. I had worked with Cabrillo before. Expensive, but they did good work. This time, they sent over a plumber, masked, but I did ask if he were vaccinated. He responded that he was not. He then told me that he already had COVID. We walked around to the plumbing issue at hand. I was thinking that having had COVID, the antibodies only last so long. Then he mentioned that one son took the vaccine and had epileptic seizures for months. Another son took the vaccine and had fainting spells. Fell and knocked himself out. I don't know why he offered that. Later I researched both of these reactions. I went to the EPILEPSY FOUNDATION site.

I could not find any link between the COVID vaccine and a risk of further seizures. In other words, I don't believe the man. And I think Cabrillo erred by sending out an unvaccinated plumber without notice.

The plumber concluded that the parts KOHLER had sent did not fit. He recommended buying new faucets from Cabrillo. Starting at about $1,200.
I declined. I called another plumber. They sent a vaccinated plumber and, indeed, the Kohler replacement parts DID work. Saved me a lot of money. Cabrillo was reckless and unapologetic.

Our hot water went out and we had hoped it was simply a pilot relight.
However, our water heater was 18 years old - and it was gone. Brian Bufford was our technician and not only was he a super nice guy, he was able to immediately get us a new water heater, and install it the very same day. Critically, we were also having furnace work done - and it required significant flexibility to work with others to ensure that we did not go without hot water. Brian was extraordinarily professional, really knew his stuff and left us feeling very confident that we were in good hands.

We had a sewer line clog in my daughters house over the weekend. We had another national company attempt a quick but not successful try at clearing the line. Paid them too leave without success. Cabrillo sent out their plumber(Dave) and within two hours the drain was clear. Competitively priced, knowledgeable and courteous, professional plumbers. Our Job was done right the first time. Cabrillo has done work for us before and really top notch service. We highly recommend this company and particularly Dave who did the work today.

We have had to use Cabrillo for multiple issues including hot water heater replacement and backed up disposals and toilets. Some of our issues with backups have been quite complex. Special shout out to Robert for his professionalism, expertise, perseverance and scrappiness! He saved us thousands of dollars by correcting an earlier diagnosis of our issues. (We had to call another company b/c Cabrillo was too busy to get to us quickly.) We were smart to go back to Cabrillo.

I have had to use Cabrillo Plumbing for three different repairs in the last six months and they always do a fantastic job! The last job entailed cutting through tile to a galvanized pipe instead of a copper pipe in which they had to get different fittings...they covered the hole beautifully too. Hats off to Brian and his team! They are timely, efficient, and do great work. If I ever have a plumbing problem, I call Cabrillo and hopefully Brian will be the one to help me. He's great!

Did not strap a water heater to code and would not come back to fix it. This company did not stand by their work.
