I've been using these guys for years and they've always done good work. And their prices were historically very competitive. Lately, however, they've gotten out of control with their prices. Most recently, I had them over to unclog a shower drain. So that was a $70 ""trip charge"" + 180/hr. labor (with a half hour minimum despite also having the duplicative trip charge). The final insult was the ""snaking"" fee which they charged to actually unclog the drain! That's like a carpenter charging extra for using a hammer. All in all, the bill came to more than $200 for a 10 minute job.

They have now lost me as a customer.

Have a second-floor condo unit, had a leak that was affecting my downstairs neighbor ceiling. They came in had to cut into my downstairs neighbor ceiling but found the leak and repaired it it very quickly. They were prompt , professional , quick and did excellent work, price was reasonable I would have no issues with calling them again for my plumbing needs

Can't say enough good things about Caballero & Sons. They came out on a Saturday morning and made the necessary repairs to my water heater that was out of code compliance. They explained in detail all the work that needed to be done and why. After the work was completed they reviewed everything and made sure I was satisfied before they packed up left. First class and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work.

If I could give more stars I would. Called at 930am and had a brand new installed water heater by 330pm. Price came out cheaper than what they estimated. The plumbers that came were courteous and explained everything in detail. They covered the entire area with runners including the steps (water heater is on the second floor). They came in removed the old and installed the new in 2 hours and kept everything clean and neat. The plumbers that came were super professional and friendly. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone! This is my new go to plumber!!

Hired these guys for a permit issue with town. They were ok with the initial repair or code compliance issue with the town for my water heater. They originally quoted me a fee of $400.00 which was supposed to include the permit fee. Ok great...get it in writing. Because they sent me a bill for the fee even though I had already paid it. They owe me $66 bucks . They were also supposed to include on the same permit a spa tub in my master bath that was looked at...now they know I am under the gun with the township to get this done quick....1 week later, I find out they did not add the spa to the permit...after several calls and them promising to resubmit proper paperwork and a call from my agent who recommended them they finally put the paperwork in...but held me hostage for a $250.00 fee w/out permit fee. Watch out for these guys. Go somewhere else.

I've been using Caballero for the past 15 years, and they are always prompt and get the job done quickly and completely. For emergencies they'll fit me in same day and cheerfully solve my plumbing issues.

AWESOME!!!!!!! The best, they came to help me with a very difficult problem. The young man that came (Mike Jr) spent a good LONG time analyzing the situation. I gave him free reign to tear down what ever he needed to get the job done. He refused! Solved the problem without having to tear down walls and make a mess. The sinks invoked now work amazing! And I have extremely minimal construction to do now. If not for his diligence and determination this could have been a lot of work for me. Mike made it a point to not only do a fantastic job as a plumber, but to make sure he saved me from disruption. In and out in one day - clean - pleasant, polite and efficient. There is no doubt - this should be your go to plumber. As a Realtor - I see a lot of plumbing jobs Trust me this was one of the best I have ever seen.

I had an appointment t 3pm with Caballeros and Sons. At 3:10 I called just to make sure they hadn't forgotten about me. No problem. The woman who answered said she could see the driver was 8 minutes away. Over 20 minutes later, I called and asked if they needed directions, and was told he was at another job and I was next. Granted it was a rainy Friday with a lot of traffic. But the driver didn't come until two hours later. What bothered me is that no one ever called me to let me know, I had to call each time to see what was up. When I called, no one was apologetic about the wait time or the incorrect info I had gotten. About the price- when I was shopping around for prices to get my heater checked out, I was first told it was a free estimate and no charge if nothing was wrong. Hours later, I thought that was weird, so I called back to check, and now I was told it would cost me 79.00 for the service call. After they came, they called me to come pick up the paperwork and said to bring 187 dollars! I told them my story and a manager called me back. He gave me no break. He prefered to just let me start over with a different company and to throw out my paperwork. Again NO kindness or apology for staff telling me three different things. I never showed my anger. I just yelped instead. Look elsewhere. Try Liberty Air in Jackson. Excellent people and service.

Thank you to Joe and techs for a job well done. Had emergency situation where town accidently ruptured homeowner ( my mom's) water line and homeowner was without water for over four days. Showed up quickly, very professional and everything was done to their written specifications. Efficient and thorough and made sure everything was clean and orderly when they left. Impressed with how they treated senior female homeowner. Would highly recommend.

Had Caballero & Sons at my house on 3/20 for a house drain backup that was causing water to come back into my basement. After listening to my problem for 15 minutes, the plumber told me he wont be able to do anything to fix it and most likely a whole new line would need to be run out to the basin (across my entire yard). He told me the owner would need to come out and give me an estimate. He also charged me about $65 for coming out to my house to tell me he cant do anything. The owner was scheduled to come by on Saturday, March 28th. Spent half my Saturday waiting. To add insult to injury, no one showed up or called.

The problem was eventually fixed by Roto Rooter who manually snaked the PVC pipe and elbow that led outside. No need to run new pipe across the yard.

I refuse to chase people down to give them my money. It took $65 but it was a lesson well learned. Call someone else.
