This company was contracted by Lowes to remove and install a new over the range microwave. Although we did not receive the day before call to setup the install time, I will chalk that up to the holidays. We did eventually get a call the morning of and the install team came on time as promised. They were quick and efficient, in and out in no time.

I was so happy with the service when I had my dryer vent replaced. Andrew was so knowledgeable about this work and also about appliances and HVAC and spent a lot of time answering questions for me about this and other issues. He called when on the way and asked questions so that he had the right materials with him to get the job done in one trip. He did a very thorough job and explained what he did and why. He checked to make sure the areas were clean before leaving. I would highly recommend!

So....this is a little bit of a two sided coin. The actual work that C U plumbing did was great. Getting them to the right location was another story and billing....I'll explain that later.

We were moving and needed a sump pump issue fixed on the old property per the inspection. When I called in, I gave a billing address and a property address for the work to be done and the garage code to get in. Well, needless to say I was surprised to find two strangers in my new house, THE WRONG ADDRESS. Lesson learned, use two different garage codes.

My REALLY BIG ISSUE is that the clerical team at CU obviously took down the wrong billing address as opposed to address where the work needed to be done. Now we all know that there are a lot of bills when you move and it takes a few months to get everything sorted out. I never received a bill from CU Plumbing and candidly, never thought about it.....until a year later when I get a call from collections. Their clerical error and I get sent to collections. I never once received a phone call asking me about it, never received an email about it and never received a bill forwarded to or sent to the BILLING address about it.

I absolutely hate giving negative comments about local businesses, but I am absolutely floored to be sent to collections over a $112 bill that I never received and never received a phone call about.

This could have easily been avoided, but wasn't. Needless to say, we'll never use CU Plumbing again. LANZ it is moving forward.
