ABSOLUTELY THE WORST COMPANY. They repaired a serious plumbing issue at a hefty price & refuse to return when it acted up again. The owner - literally LIED and then hung up. #Horrible #C&RPlumbing #ATL

Generally difficult to talk to, made it somewhat difficult to get a straight answer to a question. They did manage to repair my water heater but left parts off the original bid, meaning I got charged more than I was expecting, and they had a lot of difficulty explaining why. My problem got fixed but it took over a week and I didn't come away feeling great.

I do not recommend using this company ! We called this company on a Thursday they came out on a Friday approx. 10 am from 10 am till 230 pm they just watched to see if water would stop flowing at 230 they decided may they should do a pressure test in which they didn't have the equipment to do it with so they went to their shop about a 15-2o drive in the truck they were driving . he came back over an hour later still didn't have the proper tools to do the test. I loaned him the tools to do the test with yet I was till being charged 135 an hour ! they also tried to charge me for Thursday in which they were not here.. they tried to charge me for 10 hours when they were here for less than 6 in which 5 of those was spent just watching water, lunch, an return to their shop to get tools to do a pressure test only to return not having what he needed to do the test,,, they attempted to charge for 10 hrs They took an hour lunch an it took lil over an hour to retrun to his shop to get tools that he didn't have ,yet the bill was $850.oo . THEY ARE NOT AN HONEST TRUST WORTHY COMPANY !!!

I felt robbed! Will never use or refer this company. I used water cut off in basement to work on a bathroom vanity I was installing, and it stuck closed, cutting water off to the house. Plumber showed up promptly within 2 hours after I called (the only good thing I have to say). Plumber didn't have supplies to do the job and made 2 trips to Home Depot. Plumber replaced cut off valve and water pressure regulator. 45 minutes labor and 45 minutes wait to dry and test. Billed $750!!!!!!!

If I could rate lower I would. Total scam artists. Wanted $300 bucks to change a sink faucet (I'd already purchased the new faucet). Plumber lied and told my roommate I had given the go ahead when I had not. I politely told them to get the fuck out of my house. I found another local plumber to complete the job for $66!

I have been working with Mike Smallwood for almost 10 years. He and his team are professional and highly knowledgable. Far better than a """"billboard plumber"""" for my money.

1, They did not show up for 8am appointment(assuming the first appointment for today but late already??) until we called them why they are not here. And they asked our address which we already gave them 3 days ago. Yellow flag #1. 2, They did not introduce themselves when they finally showed up, and they were not wearing masks to visit our house during this COVID-19 pandemic. Red flag #1 2, Pricing was not clear. Their """"boss"""" said it would cost us $200 to $300 and of course the final price was $300 for just changing some washers/o-rings. And I found out that one of my neighbors who called them today as well for toilet issue (remove the toilet and Roto-Rooter because someone had flushed a rag into the toilet. ) also got charged for $300. How come those two jobs pricing are the same??? Huge red flag #2 We will NOT call them for any issue ever again.

I only picked one star because zero stars was unavailable. I've never been more taken advantage of by anyone in my life and I grew up in church. I had to threaten to sue this business in order for a bill reduction and they charged me $1700 to unclog my drains and to cause $2500 in damages to my home. I called another company and had the entire job completed for less than half of what they charged. I have reported them to the better business bureau already because of the absolute mistreatment and abuse of business I experienced. The employees themselves told me they were looking for other employment because of how common it was for customers to express discontent and the full blown feeling of being taken advantage of by the owner Michael Smallwood. I've never left a review like this, but I'm hoping that someone will read this and choose anyone else.

Worst plumber ever! I hired him to inspect existing plumbing pipes, test for leaks, and complete my job. He pulled the permit quickly and then took forever to complete the work. After the city inspection failed his work, he told me that he never initially tested for leaks because it was a 1/2 days work and demanded that I pay him for the time he's worked even though he was never supposed to be paid until he passed the inspection. In my best effort, I tried to be civil and get him to complete the work to pass the inspection. He clearly didn't know how because he quit!! DO NOT CALL THIS PLUMBER.

After a recommendation from my neighborhood group, I called C & R to take a look at my plumbing after experiencing almost a total clog somewhere inside my house. They came out and snaked the line blaming tree roots for the clog and said I could pay $350 and they'd leave or $100 if I agreed to let them come back and dig-up the clean-out (where they assumed the roots were getting in) for $1k and replace it. The project manager in me wanted to shop around and get a second opinion. So, I reluctantly paid the (overpriced total) of $350 and sent them on their way. Within a week the clog was back and I started shopping for a second opinion. Turns out C & R did not fully clear the clog (instead they poked a hole in it). Our new plumber said there was no way the pipe he just cleared has been cleared within the past week and on-top of that, there was no need to dig anything up. Also, he charges me half of what C&R did and gave me a 90-day guarantee and a plan to keep roots out longterm. I love an honest plumber, as much as I love an honest mechanic and C&R is the opposite of honest. No love.
