That said, there are many low-cost, inexperienced, or careless individuals in the market. I’ve had numerous clients attempt to lowball my rates. It’s important to set clear expectations regarding costs with your customers and let them know that costs can change due to different circumstances.

Pricing a job while keeping both parties satisfied can be challenging. A plumber who can complete a job profitably while ensuring the customer feels they’ve made a wise investment is truly exceptional.
