I have a water leak at home, so I called them to find out the options I have. Chris diagnosed over the phone and eventually recommended me an option that would NOT involve C Cruz!!! I mean he could have easily ""just"" spoken about their service but he asked me several questions about my piping, length of use etc and eventually suggested to get the piping replaced (instead of fixing a leak) as that is more long term solution in my case. I appreciate their honesty. Thanks Chris!

He came out the next day. I had a 2-hour window and he came right in the middle of it and called ahead when he was on his way. Very professional and courteous. Little things like telling me how I could use my neighbors to get water rather than the good old bucket and pan method, making sure that everything filled since they had to turn the water on. I was curious and he was great about explaining what they were doing and how it worked. Cost was reasonable. Leak was exactly located for when the plumber came out.

Came out within a day of calling for a video inspection. Was a little expensive, but they had the right gear, took only 30 minutes to cam my whole sewer line and write up a quick report on their findings.

For $300-ish, they gave me a DVD keepsake of my sewer line from end to end. Fortunately for me, that's where this story ends as my sewer line was completely intact and No Trouble Found.

Very professional, friendly, and helpful. Would use them again for any future video inspection and subsurface locating needs i may have.

C Cruz Sub-Surface Locators was recommended by Don, the owner of RDS Plumbing and Sewer, to locate a leak in the hot water pipes under the concrete slab of my mom's Eichler home in Palo Alto. Chris Sr. called to let me know he would be able to come out earlier than the scheduled appointment time. We met at my mom's house. He mapped out the location of the hot water pipes and then listened for the leak. He put an ""X"" on the spot. The next day, Francisco from RDS Plumbing came out and was able to quickly locate the pipe that needed to be repaired. He repaired the pipe, patched the concrete and replaced the floor tile that same day. It was great!
