See the previous negative reviews. Sent by HSA Home Warranty. After initial visit, not only were they difficult to get a hold of but they didn't even fix the problem. Incompetent.

I work with C&B Plumbing on a number of calls for property management, and they always come through. Owner Rick and his team are professional, well-versed in plumbing, and (most importantly) never have to go back to fix something they messed up on.
I started working with them through HSA home warranty 3 years ago, and they are one of the few vendors (not just plumbers) that I decided to work with outside of the home warranty because their work ethic is solid, and they're trustworthy.

My 12 years old water heater stopped working. A neighbor recommended C&B. Called this morning around 10am and Rick answered the phone, he said he was on the other line and would call me right back. Withing 5 minuted he returned my call. Mark arrived as scheduled at my house at 12, gave me an price and and said he would take them a couple of hours to get the new heater and complete the job. At 230 I have hot water, my garage is cleaned! They were efficient, professional and priced right! Very happy will call them again for the house plumbing needs!!

I have the same story as some other reviewers here but opposite outcome. We had a plumbing leak under the edge of our foundation, and it was covered via Old Republic home warranty, who contracts out with C&B plumbing. I called C&B, and was first surprised that a human being answered within 2 rings. I asked to schedule someone to come out and he asked if they could come out in the next hour!!! Wow. Never had that happen before. Anyway, I wasn't available, so they came out the next morning. They diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly, which was somewhat complicated as it involved jackhammering up the edge of the foundation. They were courteous and knowledgeable. If I ever have plumbing issues again, I would call them. This is an unsolicited review, because honestly I think they earned it.

This company was the plumber sent out by Old Republic Home Warranty. They botched the job from minute one. I told them it was a leak in the wall, and their tech worked on the toilet, completely ignoring the leak in the wall. After several calls (most not returned), a go back on the TOILET, I finally had to call the warranty company to get action. It took over two months, and now there is a bill of over $4000 dollars in mold remediation from the WALL LEAK that was right next to the toilet that they fixed that wasn't broken. I agree with someone below, if zero were an option, that would be the choice.

C&B came to our house to snake a washing machine drain. After inspection, (and the Tech's 15 minute phone time). We were told the drain has ""NO"" cleanout and he was not allowed on the roof, ""Can't do the job"". My alterative was to re-pipe the whole drain with a quote of $450. (quote mind you). And because they ""Can't do the job"", I still have to pay the deductible because now it becomes a service charge. (for showing up). Bummer. Now I have to figure out a way to do this myself. Big Bummer.
Now I'm no plumber, but the first thing I did was loosen two hose clamps,.....and found ""The CLEANOUT"".I ran a little 25' hand snake down it. Put it together. Works fine.
So I called C&B on their new slogan 'Can't do the job"", along with their reasons, and requested my deductible back because they ""Didn't do the job'. I was told they had to speak to my insurance company first. They call my insurance company. My insurance company calls and tells me that C&B says we will not be refunded because we don't have a cleanout ....LIARS!. Now we're out money because of their incompetence. I too wish there were zero stars. Shame on you C&B......Shame on you.

Military families especially DO NOT USE!
If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. We had a water leak and so our home warranty company sent these ""professionals"" out. They said without seeing water, they can't fix anything but they decided to go into the attic to look anyways. So my husband went up with the technician, and he found the leak. Then he told us even though he found the leak, they couldn't fix it because they didn't see water on the outside of the door. They tried telling us that they wanted to cut a 1 ft x 1 ft hole in the wall to find the leak..... That they already found and showed my husband. But if they don't find the leak inside the wall (which they wouldn't because the leak was in the attic,) then they wouldn't fix the wall.
The next few days/weeks the water leaked through our door frame and into our wooden floor, ruining the floor, and now we are trying to deal with their insurance company because THEY LIED and said they never saw a leak in the attic. Luckily our home warranty sent another plumber out and they immediately fixed the leak, but now we might have to pay for our floor and door frame to be fixed because THEY LIED about the work they neglected to do at our home.
NEVER EVER EVER DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE! I'm in the process of filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau for this as well as taking legal actions. I can't believe that a company would be so negligent and not own up to their mistakes.

Got a certificate from the radio shopping show to get my garbage disposal replaced. I was very satisfied with the technician they sent out. He was in and out in less than an hour, made sure there were no leaks, and gave me a couple tips on how to keep the blades sharp.

Saturday morning my wife and I find our hot water heater is leaking, my wife is in a panic, however I know Lowes is very far away. I called my favorite Lowes Store on Marks Street, in Henderson, NV. I asked for Rob, the store manager, but I was lucky to get Ana, the assistant store manager, she told me that Lowes has contractors that do emergency repairs such as hot water heaters. I drove over and Mark in pluming helped me picked out a 50 gallon, gas hot water heater. He also pointed out the accessories needed to complete the job. He took me to customer service where Ana and Shawn had already started my paper work in a computer just waiting for me. Even though I was very distressed they still took time to offer the best deal for my money, free financing or 5% off. Long story short, the contractors from Lowes showed up ready to work from C&B Plumbing, they were very professional and quick, with-in a couple hours they had picked up my hot water heater, delivered it and set it up, showed me the features, and took away the old hot water heater for me. It was a wonderful experience as it was.

It was a pain to step into our garage one evening and see the mini lake that had formed around our water heater. It hurt even more pulling out my wallet at Lowes to shell out hundreds of dollars for a new one. I thought that maybe our luck was changing when the plumbing company that the store uses called me the very next day to set up installation for that evening. It was just proof that all bad things happen in 3's.
The contractor arrived that evening as promised and our new water heater was installed in a flash. He was courteous and professional and about what you would want from a serviceman, even cleaning up his mess in the garage after the job was done. That evening before my wife and I went to bed she opened up the door separating the house from the garage to make sure the lights were off and told me she thought she smelled gas. I checked it myself and although there was a faint smell we decided that maybe it still lingered from a few hours earlier when our new appliance was installed. After opening the garage door and letting it air out we closed everything up and turned in for the night. A couple of hours later we decided to check on it again and the smell was back, guaranteeing we had a leak. I shut the gas off until I could call the plumber to come back out the following morning and went back to bed. The next morning after calling the company about the leak, he was there within 2 hours and tightened everything up.
No smell, No cold water, No problem, right?
Wrong.
If our only issue was with a small leak during installation this review would be over and they would be getting 4 out of 5 stars. The issue we have is with how long it took to get us our permit so we could have it inspected.
Building permits are normally obtained before work is started (hence the name ""permit"" meaning permitting the work to be done), but most small jobs, for example putting in a water heater, are done first and then the permit is applied for after the fact. I'm fine with that and would have been fine with the week to 2 weeks I was told it was going to take the contractor to pull the permit and mail it to me. 2 weeks went by and I received nothing. A phone call told me it would be sent later the same week. Another 2 weeks went by and I called again. I was told they have been super busy and they would get it out the beginning of the following week. Over 2 weeks later I called Lowes and complained. They said they would call him and call me back. When they returned my call they said that he told them that my permit was in the mail and that he was dropping off a copy to the store later that day.
I received my permit in the mail on February 3rd. The following Tuesday I called the contractor to schedule the inspection and according to him we were all set up for2 days later. Knowing the 2 month history we've had with the plumber I decided to call and verify our appointment on Thursday afternoon. ""I'm sorry,"" He tells me on the phone. ""My girl in the office must have forgot to set it up, how is tomorrow for you?"" How is the fact that I've just wasted the day waiting around the house when this all should have been taken care of almost 2 months ago? The next day the inspector finally showed up and gave the work a passing grade.
If you've taken the time to read this then I thank you for allowing me to vent.
