I really feel like CB Lucas took advantage of me and refused to answer my emails. I paid them 8k to replace my heat pump in 2023, while I was out of the country and renting my home. 1 year later I returned to my house, and when I go see the heat pump, I see that they not only did not replace the air cabinet, the current one was cracked. I emailed them, with a cordial email asking if there was some misunderstand as per the work order I had, it read the air cabinet would also be replaced. I asked if they could clarify the situation with me as I was upset and perhaps I misunderstood. No response. It looks like I will now have to have someone else fix the bad install by CB Lucas. I used to have a lot of trust in this company, but after how they treated me, I cannot recommend anymore.

True story. Just happened today, 12/11/2023. I made an appointment on Friday for this company to come to my house for a plumbing issue. They quoted a price, which I accepted and an appointment was made for Monday. The morning of the appointment they called and left a voice-mail. When I called back, they quoted me a price three times higher than the original quote. Complete bait and switch. They said I had not returned their VM quickly enough, so they sent the plumber who was supposed to be at my house (between 8am and 2pm) to another call. They said they couldn't arrive on the day they had scheduled. The manager was rude on the phone and frankly couldn't have cared less. Definitely will never use them. Consider them unethical, deceitful and with horrible management. Can someone give less than 1 star?

Terrible customer service - on par with service from the DMV. Don't waste your time. I called Monday July 3 for an issue - requested next available date - which I was told would be Wednesday. Just called today to double check - nope they scheduled it for Wednesday July 12th. I had a feeling the rep that took my call would do something this petty - and this confirms it.

We had an issue with the water temperature getting too hot and was unable to lower the temperature regardless of the adjustments made on the hot water heater. My complaint has nothing to do with the diagnostic of the issue but the level of customer service. The tech was rude and loud and have trouble understanding the problem. He was disrespectful. I contacted the company and spoke to the service manager and he was actually more disappointing and dismissive. He was focused on the diagnostic and I was explaining that my issue was with the level of customer service received...so if professional and polite staff is what you are expecting there is a possibility that you will not receive it here from techs or service manager.

I love the fact that it's a family owned business. I have been a customer for years and they have never disappointed. I just had my three A/C units serviced today for the upcoming summer season with one of my favorite techs (Bill). He thoroughly checked all three systems and one in particular for a possible leak he suspected a couple of months ago. Turned out to be a false alarm and all three units checked out thoroughly. Bill is an exceptionally knowledgeable tech. I won't call any other company for my HVAC and plumbing needs.

The service I received was terrible. Starting with the receptionist that gave me wrong information. The technician trying to enter my home without a mask. The technician not using foot covering. The manager Wayne Was rude. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Hoping to avoid any repairs or maintenance until COIVD-19 was over but apparently fate had other ideas. My air handler started making weird grinding noises and winter coming around, I decided to call C.B. Lucas. Bill was sent to our condo and there were no regrets. He took a look (face mask and shoe covers) and identified the problem as the fan motor controller. Bill was transparent about the cost upfront and provided options because the repair cost was steep. Without hesitation, I scheduled the repair. On the return visit, Bill was done in less than 30 min, and my unit works flawlessly (quieter than before surprisingly). Thanks Bill for your help and just in time for Fall temps!

We used a builder who used CB Lucas. The HVAC system was built completely inadequate for the finished space in the house. Aside from providing only 1 vent to condition over 1,200 Square feet of finished space (including exercise space), the units provided never worked properly. The AC leaked (photos) and damaged the ceilings. The heating does not work still and Michael Lucas wrote he will not honor the warranty. If zero stars were allowed, that is what I would put. Find a reputable company and save yourself a lot of time, money and aggravation.

We have been using CB Lucas for 10 years and can't think of calling anyone else when an issue arises. This week our AC unit was having an issue. Bill came out the next morning, explained what happened & gave many solutions/advice.

Inviting a repair person into your home during these COVID times is nothing short of scary. With our AC unit completely out and heat advisories sweeping through the area, we had no choice. CB Lucas was able to get us in right away and let me know when our repairman, Eric, was headed our way. Eric was friendly, professional, quick to fix the problem, and most importantly very safe! He wore a mask, gloves, and kept his distance. Even without a pandemic I don't like 'strangers' in my home; Eric made me feel very comfortable and now I'm giddily blasting the AC! I highly recommend this company!
