Don't let these people near your house. Made a mess, very unprofessional. There equipment broke. Terrible

Came for an inspection, broke the lids to the septic tank, refused to replace or do anything about them. Left with two holes in the ground. You break something, you fix it. Will never use this company again for anything.

Our septic plugged over Christmas. They came out first thing on Monday to clean-out the tank. Then sent their roto-rooter person out next to clear the drain. They did a fantastic and professional job. It was very reasonably priced. I totally recommend them. Thank you to Paul and John.

Needed my main line ""roto rooted"", called in the morning and they were able to get a someone at my house in the afternoon, said he would call on when he was on the way, he didnt and showed up at our house. The mans name was John, he walked around for 5-10 minutes, didn't pull out a single tool or anything, told my girlfriend that we needed a 4 inch clean out (which I know I need I work in the construction industry, I live in a home that was built in 1904, they didn't do that kind of stuff back then) told us to call an excavating company and left. Didn't fix a dang thing, didn't do any work, didn't tell us why he didn't do any work, gave us no insight on anything just told us about the cleanout and an excavator operator.
This was my first and last time using this company. I hear their prices are very reasonable, but sometimes you need to pay more for a company that actually cares about their work and will do it. Don't waste your time with this company call Big Cat Plumbing in Florence worth every penny you'll ever spend.
I've been in the construction industry for 7 years and I have never been so upset with a company for not doing work. Absolutely horrible, they added more stress about this already stressful situation.

My sister was having problems with her septic so she contacted several Roto-Rooter type businesses and of course some of them wanted $700 or more.
She contacted Byrds because she used them before and whom ever they sent out was pleasant and able to fix the problem. So she thought she would try them again .
Since they were reasonable they quoted her $160 which she figured wasn't bad.
However John that came out was In a horrible mood, very hostile in his words and treated her terrible. He was very unprofessional in his behavior and his words towards her.
He complained that he should be going home, that this job was requiring two people and she should've known that. He said he'd be back in a few days since he wasn't able to fix or even try to find out what was wrong. She thought the price was reasonable compared to the other so she said that was fine.
Her son decided to try a few different things that they hadn't tried before because she didn't want this man coming back out. Fortunately for us her what they did worked out.
She was very grateful that she didn't have to have John come back out.
It is too bad that this employee works for this company or they would have a higher rating and a lot more business!

Our sewer line was clogged by an aerosol can lid. A competitor gave us a bid of $2000. to remove it. They refused to ""roto-root"" the line.
John, from Byrd's ""roto-rooted"" the line and popped out the lid for a $60.00 service fee. Thank you so much. Byrd's has always been honest and reasonable! Thank you John!

Worst experience I've had with them!
My family has used them for many years for our homes and rentals. They have always been so friendly and able to come out quick.
This last time I used them made me find someone else.
I called the office to make an appt. To have some work done. They couldn't give me a time so they said they would call when they were on their way.
The first time they came out it was John. He seemed like he was in a bad mood and had a attitude that he didn't want to work. I started a friendly conversation with him. I asked him "" The office told me you were gonna call when you were on the way?"" He shrugged his shoulders like he knew nothing about that. Oh well, just glad I was there. When he was done he was trying to put the septic tank lid back on and couldn't get it. He then asked "" you don't have little ones running around do you?"" I said ""Yes I do and animals."" He grunted and groaned like it was a bother to put the lid back on all the way! So I helped him put it back on, thanked him and he was on his way.
They had to have a second person come out to pump out the septic tank. His name was Paul, he's always been really nice and we've always had conversation. Seems like a really nice guy.
So we headed to the septic tank and I Asked "" The office said you were gonna call when you were headed here?"" He said he was just the driver and didn't know anything about it. So whatever, not a big deal. Just would be nice to know when they are on their way if they can't give me a time. So anyways we had friendly conversation and when he was done I helped put the septic lid back on, I thanked him and he left.
Later on I called the office to make sure they did tell me they were gonna call before coming and they confirmed that.
Fast forward 2 weeks later I get a call from the land Lord and they tell me that Byrds office called and said I ran out of the house screaming and yelling at the guys that came and that I was mean and rude on the phone too. They told them that didn't sound like me and that they would talk to me.
So I called the office and I think I talked to the owner. She was very rude and unprofessional. She was arguing and yelling at me! I called to apologize if they took anything I said or did rudely, but I never yelled or screamed. I had other people with me that can confirm I did not run out of the house screaming and yelling. So I don't know where that came from. Maybe they got me mixed up with someone else?.. I don't know, but the way the office treated me was not professional at all. I asked her if she could have the guys that came out call me so I could apologize for anything I did. She said yes. Never heard back though.
I can't recommend nor discourage to use Byrds. Like I said they have always been great until this last time I used them, but something like that doesn't make you want to continue using their business.

Wow, where do I start... I originally called this company to schedule a septic pump on my property. At the same time, I was also having slow drainage in my kitchen sink. I noticed google had the business listed as ""plumbers"". When I called to schedule an appointment to pump the tank, I inquired about the plumbing part. The receptionist lady told me yes, they are plumbers as well, so I told her my issue and she said she would send someone over to look at it at the same time. Fast forward to my appointment, two men show up. One to fix my sink and one to pump the septic tank. The ""plumber"" is a tall lanky man with his hair EVERYWHERE like he hasn't combed it in days. His name is John. He doesn't greet me back when I welcomed him, he just stormed into my house. Right off the bat, his energy and attitude was awful! It was like he was mad about being there to do his service. After seeing the problem, he brings his snake in. He proceeds to take apart the piping underneath the sink. He had nothing to catch the water with, so I had water spewing out of the pipe into my cabinet, onto the floor and underneath the cabinet where the pipes go down into the floor. I don't know about you, but to me that is a HUGE mold issue that this careless man could have caused. The sad part is I won't ever know because I can't take apart my cabinet and piping to get to it. I collected some towels and he got up so I can clean up the mess. As you can tell, I'm irritated at this point. He then puts his snake equipment in the pipe. The whole time he his huffing and puffing about doing his job. The other man would come in to check on him and he would respond so rudely to this man. There was a point where he snapped a couple of times at the man. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! At one point he asked me the time. I told him the time and he rudely sighed/grunted and said damn it! I've got to go! At this point, he has turned my slow drainage into no draining at all. I have standing water in both sides of my sink. he takes out his nasty plunger and starts plunging aggressively, throwing water all over my kitchen. NASTY!! He then pulls his snake out and says ""you have to call a plumber, I have to go. I have another call."" I said ""excuse me, I thought you were the plumber..?"" He said, ""yeah, a lot of people have that impression."" I said, ""umm, no.. your business on google states you are a plumber and when I called the lady at the office, she said yes, you are a plumber. So you need to correct that. That is very misleading! I would have called a plumber and saved myself money."" Yes, people, I paid for him to come into my home, create a mess, and then tell me I have to go now because I have another call, call a plumber. MIND BLOWN!!! That made me feel very small like my call didn't matter. My money doesn't matter. But the jerk got his money anyways. Not to mention, he took his crap equipment out and left rust and whatever else was on that equipment all over my floor. The septic guy, he was a very nice, professional man and for that I give this company a 1. This was the worst experience and I was left scrambling to find a REAL plumber to come fix what this jerk off created.
With that being said, call C & D plumbing. These people turned my ""plumbing"" experience around! They had a bucket and towels to catch and clean up any water that came out of the drain. They had wipes to clean up EVERY mess they made. They are super nice and professional! They showed me what a REAL PLUMBER IS.
With how awful this experience was I will NEVER use this company AGAIN!

Horrible experience! Employee entered our gated backyard without permission and came to our back door to greet us. Thankfully our dogs were not out back. No introduction, no greeting, just said 'uh hi' and stared at us. The owner proceeded to come to our front door about 10 minutes later, grumbling, yelling at us asking who previously worked in our septic system. Our gates were both left wide open and when we went to shut them the owner cursed at us and told us he did not want to work here. Zero professionalism, zero decency.

Horrible people! Liars!! My parents just moved to Glen Vista from Colorado Springs to live in a home they built with my grandparents. Found that the heat had not been on due to a breaker tripping in turn had a frozen pipes to the septic tank. The owner of this company is a scum bag and told my mother that he wasn't going to help her because she had ""called around"" and that he wouldn't be able to find the septic lid without an excavator. LIAR!!! The city sent you the build files the day before and you had them at your office. Mind you my parents are unable to shower, use the bathroom in doors or do laundry. Who do you think you are to tell my parents that the need to just move back to the springs?? I will be calling the BBB as well on this matter as well. I hope that you are able to sleep well at night..
